My tibial plateau fracture surgery/recovery process has me going insane!!
I recently had a 4 wheeling accident which caused me to have lower knee surgery. This has been an extremely rough year for me. Having to be on crutches since Dec 31, 2018 is driving me insane. My anxiety is through the roof and I have support, but it's not enough. Also not working has affected my income

Frustration
Morning everyone 😊. I want to start off by saying that I am super grateful for every day that I’ve managed to live with lung cancer. Having gotten to hear the acronym NED this past September was a Godsend. In 2015 I thought for sure that I would be another lung cancer statistic and I am super grateful

GA or Sedation
Hi I have just read a post about this re. Ablation. When I had my ablation I had sedation and couldn't remember anything afterwards. On Monday I will be having a knee replacement surgery and will have to make that choice again. I was thinking of having spinal anaesthetic plus sedation instead of a general

TKR and Severe pain inside of knee
Just had my 3rd TKR (not including 2 revisions) all on the same knee. I am experiencing severe and debilitating pain on the inside of the same knee, near the knee cap. It almost feels like meniscus pain. It occurs when I stand up after sitting, and it will subside somewhat after taking a few steps. The

Knee replacement
My orthopedic surgeon says my left knee is bone on bone and needs replacement. I had right knee replaced in 2008 - pre PMR - and it did well, of course I was 11 years younger. My question is I am presently on 7.5 - 6.5 mg prednisone and am ready to go to 7 - 6 mg. Surgery is scheduled for 4/16. Should

Pressure flight stockings help me with RLS
I am new here. I have had RLS for two years, following a partial knee replacement. Quite by chance, I have discovered recently that wearing pressure flight stockings - the kind you wear on long flights up to the knee to prevent blood clots - at night has been an enormous help. I have no idea whether

My hubby is in so much pain after knee replacement op. When does it start to ease. I feel so useless as all i can do is hand over the pain killers which do no good at all.

Hand and lip tremors
I have APS and undifferentiated connective disease. I had knee surgery on 11/13/19 and I'm sure that's unnerved my autoimmune system. I've since developed a UTI and a gum infection and tremors in my hands and lips have started about a month ago. Has anyone experienced similar tremors? I see my APS

Has anyone had a Distal Femoral Osteotomy ?
Hi, I am new. I had a Distal Femoral Osteotomy almost 4 months ago due to Osteoarthritis in both knees, with a view to another 10 years before needing knee replacements. (I am 50) I wondered if any one else has had this op and what their results have been. I am not happy as I still have the arthritic
