Has anyone had a Distal Femoral Osteotomy ?

Hi, I am new.

I had a Distal Femoral Osteotomy almost 4 months ago due to Osteoarthritis in both knees, with a view to another 10 years before needing knee replacements. (I am 50) I wondered if any one else has had this op and what their results have been. I am not happy as I still have the arthritic pain plus new pain down my leg and to my ankle. My Doc is more interested in promoting this surgery than the health of the patient. Also since the surgery my RLS has got so much worse.

I would appreciate any input.

Thank you.
