on from your
knee
, your back, your spine, it will clear up when we get those sorted. but the process and progress has been slow. unofficially, there's an idea that i have hip bursitis, cause from poor gait with the wobbly knee.

The Danger of Falls and the warning signs and equipment to prevent them.
I was inspired to write this post by RTR1's recent post about her 1st fall. Falls are one of the most dangerous side effects of MS that affects a large percentage of MS patients. As our disability increases so does the likelihood of falls resulting from that disability. You might ask why I feel

I simply don't know how to give up.
On Monday December the 19th I go in the hospital for right knee replacement. Your prayers and good thoughts will be deeply appreciated. Some say I'm an idiot for doing this, especially most of my family due to my MS. But, I simply don't know how to give up. My knee is getting so bad that I think if

AF after Covid jab
I have had 4 Covid jabs and each time have had a reaction that confined me to bed for at least 48 hours. In April 2022 after my pre op I underwent a total knee replacement - all went fine. I returned to have the pre op for my other knee to find that my heart beat was very irregular - AF had developed

Do steroids mask infection
I had a total knee replacement on 25th Nov. Took 10 mgs of Pred (double dose re Sick Day rules). On 24th Dec got infection in scar - stitch abcess for which I got antibiotics from MIU. Saw Ortho surgeon a few days later who told me to stop taking antibiotics because they would mask bacterial infection

Knee surgery and PD meds??
Today I am seeing a surgeon about my bad knee. I am concerned that I will have to stop my Madapor before surgery, as it says on the packet. Is this true? I cannot imagine going without it - just the thought of that makes me anxious.

Hello friends, it's Fancy59. I'm back and can not wait to reconnect with everyone!
As SPMS tends to do as time went on my disability increased. Directly linked to the increase in disability was an increase with my depression. On top of this my right knee got worse and worse. I finally went to an Orthopedic surgeon and had it looked and much to my dismay I discovered my worst fears

Sulfasalazine experience
I am presently on 6 tabs of 500 mg sulfasalzine and it has done nothing for my Psoriatic Arthritis. I started Otezla on Oct 16th so I will see if this is effective then I can then decrease Sulfasalazine. The enthesitis Achilles Tendon is the most debilitating and frustrating because it makes it very

I am having problems with my knees. At the beginningf of this year, I went to an orthopedic surgeon to see about knee replacement. He took x-rays and said the arthritis was not bad enough to warrant replacement, but suggested I get cortisone shot in my knees. So I went to another Dr. last April who
