Hi. I suspect it could be your b/p and af that are the
Problem not your heart op. I had open heart surgery fora mitral valve replacement and went into af afterwards. I had meds for two years for af . My heart beat is now back to normal just a little bit fast so i have different meds now. I think you should be able to have a knee op but I wonder ifyou would have to stop your meds beforehand so that could be the reason why they do not want to do it. You should ask the consultant what the reason is. I think I also will have to have a knee op soon as my right knee is now very painful. I hope you can get an answer to your question. It must be very frustrating for you. I hope everything goes well for you.
