surgery
in Dec 2021. All was fine to start off with and he had a good range of movement. For the last 6-8 months he has been struggling with pain and movement. He can’t walk far and for long without pain relief.

Restless Legs Syndrome
I have severe Restless Leg Syndrome and I don't know what to do anymore. I tell my MS doctor and all he does is put me on more pills and when I tell him that is not working, he ups the amount of pills I take. I feel like he is not listening to me. It is so bad, I have it just about every night and

High histamine reaction - is this common with hypothyroidism?
I am wondering if being hypothyroid has anything to do with high histamine reactions because I had anaphylactic shock during general anaesthetic when they were injecting drugs into my system for a knee replacement?

Hello All, I am writing on behalf of my 89 year old mom who has been struggling with severe leg and back pain. Mom had Guillaune Barre Syndrome in 2009 resulting from the flu vaccine and both knee replacements prior to that. She is diabetic and otherwise cognitively fine. Her pain causes her syncope

weight gain
Has anyone gained weight whilst being on Bisoprolol? I’ve gained two stone in two years; and am now borderline diabetic with a score of 42 in my recent blood tests (hbc?) I also take Adalimubab injections for my Arthritis. There are days when I am extremely lethargic but need to lose weight prior

Question of the Week: Why did you start to run?
A lot of us start C25K having done little or no exercise since we left school. Others used to be active but life intervened - work, children, illness, injury, other responsibilities. Were you advised by your doctor that you needed to get more active. Or did you just take a look at your sedentary lifestyle

Advice for depressed husband
Need advice everyone. As I battle my own depression I see more and more signs my husband is depressed and suffers from anxiety as well. Important notes: -Middle aged, has horrible knees and may be looking at knee replacement - Knee issues have caused slowing of exercise and weight gain - Very upset

Good news/bad news
hi all. The nurse rang last week to say that my liver results had improved somewhat but were still outside normal range. Because I have such active disease she didn’t want to leave me with no meds at all, so we decided to restart the leflunomide and see how the blood results go in two week, then make

Shoe and shoe insoles
Hi all I'm hoping that I can get some suggestions about footwear or shock absorbing insoles. I have a bad knee (waiting for knee replacement op) and now have lower back pain. I'm going away soon and expect to walk lot more than I do at home. Any advice appreciated.

Medical Cannabis?
Has anyone tried medical cannabis for pain relief? I have severe arthritis which limits my life quite a lot, my doctor won’t refer me for knee replacement until I lose more weight, and being on Rux has meant more weight gain! Obviously will need to ask haematologist about. It is quite expensive and
