knee surgery
I have a constant cough since I contacted COVID in 2023, resulting in Haemophilus influenzae! I have been prescribed 6 different antibiotics and Doxycycline for past three months but still showing in sputum! I am due for knee replacement with spinal block soon do you think this will be possible?

KNEE SURGERY?
High folks, went to see my consultant a few days ago, asked when I was getting my 1st surgery and we discovered I am NOT on the waiting list. This is apparently due to a CLERICAL ERROR with the orthopedic department. My consultant, lovely person has promised me she will ask for a priority appointment

Depression
I was working before I had
knee
surgery
and being at work helped occupy my mind, but I'm limited and now for about 3 years I've been looking for work that I can do but unfortunately I've been blacklisted and I can't get a job.

Feeling baffled
The only reason all this came about is because I went for a pre-op assessment for
knee
surgery
and they found a heart murmur. I have a cardiac angiogram appointment next week so hopefully this will shed more light on it all.

Recent RLS Diagnosis
I developed RSL after recent arthroscopic
knee
surgery
. From what I have read on this site the RSL started due to the emetic included in the anesthesia. I don't understand why the RSL was triggered at this particular time, and not previously with other surgeries when the emetic was requested.

How was your Universal Credit Review?
On top of it I am undergoing a battle to get a different surgeon to fix the mistakes that my previous surgeon has made during my last
knee
surgery
that left me in pain and still in crutches since 1 year and half almost two years..

thromboelastogram
I had unrelated
knee
surgery
the other day. Discussed my PV with the anesthesiologist & he was surprised to hear I never had this test. He said it looks at the function of the platelets. I've never heard anyone mention this test before.

Knee massager with red light
Has anyone with osteoarthritis in knees try a personal
knee
massager with red light instead of
knee
surgery
? If so did it work?

New starter!
hi, just about to embark on couch to 5k after having
knee
surgery
in April. Although never a great runner I would generally run a few times per week around 3 to 4 miles. Due to injury I haven’t ran for over 2 year.

Knee replacement - biologics
I’d also be interested to hear of peoples experience of
knee
surgery
when on Amgevita, especially how long they were off meds for the operation

chronic hiccups after knee surgery
My father had double
knee
surgery
a few years ago. After the operation he developed sever hiccups which drained him to the point of exhaustion and he kept vomiting. These then stopped after he was given some medication for them.

Terrified
I had
knee
surgery
almost 2 weeks ago and after the surgery I took the prescribed narcotics for 4 days. Every time I take these I get constipated. I started taking stool softeners (colace) and after a week nothing.

Total knee replacement?
He had previously mentioned
knee
surgery
, to be considered after stabilising RA, which seems very successful so far, allowing for the loss of strength and stamina. I had never been keen having watched others struggling with two long sticks. However, they are getting worse.

buprenorphine, pregablin, opiates
I know/assume there can be withdrawal issues from both BUT I also know I had to pull off of the buprenorphine at least 2 weeks ahead of
knee
surgery
in order for anasthesia and pain meds to be functional two years back.
