Knee surgery

I have a constant cough since I contacted COVID in 2023, resulting in Haemophilus influenzae! I have been prescribed 6 different antibiotics and Doxycycline for past three months but still showing in sputum! I am due for knee replacement with spinal block soon do you think this will be possible?

I was on a healing journey until I had a intense knee surgery. It spiraled into sadness because no one called, checked in or anything. My partner was there but focused on work. Lost a baby along the way in September which sent me into darker territory.

I was working before I had knee surgery and being at work helped occupy my mind, but I'm limited and now for about 3 years I've been looking for work that I can do but unfortunately I've been blacklisted and I can't get a job.

The only reason all this came about is because I went for a pre-op assessment for knee surgery and they found a heart murmur. I have a cardiac angiogram appointment next week so hopefully this will shed more light on it all.

High folks, went to see my consultant a few days ago, asked when I was getting my 1st surgery and we discovered I am NOT on the waiting list. This is apparently due to a CLERICAL ERROR with the orthopedic department. My consultant, lovely person has promised me she will ask for a priority appointment

I developed RSL after recent arthroscopic knee surgery. From what I have read on this site the RSL started due to the emetic included in the anesthesia. I don't understand why the RSL was triggered at this particular time, and not previously with other surgeries when the emetic was requested.

Just had knee surgery and discovered I have multiple small clots in one lung. Am in hospital recovering but am very anxious and scared and pretty sure my fast heart rate and tremors are down to worrying more.I'm convinced I'm going to die :-( please help

Hello all, just had a call from my Hospital informing me that my total knee replacement surgery is in 2 WEEKSAs I have Lymphoedema in both legs - left leg is worse. Surgery is on right knee.

On top of it I am undergoing a battle to get a different surgeon to fix the mistakes that my previous surgeon has made during my last knee surgery that left me in pain and still in crutches since 1 year and half almost two years..

I saw the anaesthetist on Friday and he said as my knee surgery is now urgent they will be going ahead with it imminently and I will have to come off the clopidogrel for five days. He didn't seem concerned about this.

On top of everything I am fighting to have another knee surgery as last operation created other painful and mobility issues, still using crutches..

surgery, where the surgeon has created other issues (and stillhe is still trying to brush it under the carpet) I am awaiting another operation from another surgeon and my old surgeon is gosting me, not taking any responsibility of his wrong doing all .

I have read that others also didn’t have it until after hip and knee surgery. I’ve been put on all the old dopamine drugs in the past which all resulted in augmentation. Going through 3 neurologists, I finally had found a neurologist that knew what he was talking about.

Since my knee surgery, my right leg is swelling more.

Just had a knee surgery in November

I know/assume there can be withdrawal issues from both BUT I also know I had to pull off of the buprenorphine at least 2 weeks ahead of knee surgery in order for anasthesia and pain meds to be functional two years back.

However 18 months ago I had knee replacement surgery and from that day have suffered daily fro RLS. My GP prescribed pramipexole and due to what I understand is augmentation I am now on a reduced dose of 36mg a day. I am due for a medication reciew on 4th November.

hi all, I had knee replacement surgery on June 18 and when I came home I was on pain meds so I stopped taking my klonipin. I was on .25 of Klonipin 3 x a day. My anxiety level was pretty low so I had not taken Klonipin for a week.

I had knee surgery almost 2 weeks ago and after the surgery I took the prescribed narcotics for 4 days. Every time I take these I get constipated. I started taking stool softeners (colace) and after a week nothing.
