KNEE SURGERY?
High folks, went to see my consultant a few days ago, asked when I was getting my 1st surgery and we discovered I am NOT on the waiting list. This is apparently due to a CLERICAL ERROR with the orthopedic department. My consultant, lovely person has promised me she will ask for a priority appointment

Knee massager with red light
Has anyone with osteoarthritis in knees try a personal
knee
massager with red light instead of
knee
surgery
? If so did it work?

thromboelastogram
I had unrelated
knee
surgery
the other day. Discussed my PV with the anesthesiologist & he was surprised to hear I never had this test. He said it looks at the function of the platelets. I've never heard anyone mention this test before.

New starter!
hi, just about to embark on couch to 5k after having
knee
surgery
in April. Although never a great runner I would generally run a few times per week around 3 to 4 miles. Due to injury I haven’t ran for over 2 year.

chronic hiccups after knee surgery
My father had double
knee
surgery
a few years ago. After the operation he developed sever hiccups which drained him to the point of exhaustion and he kept vomiting. These then stopped after he was given some medication for them.

Why do i have a Resuscitation status section on my discharge letter from hospital?
I had
knee
surgery
last week. Discharge letter had a section entitled Resuscitation Status on it (not ordered) which has never been in previous letters. On previous hospital visits prior to diagnosis of vasospastic angina this did not appear on any of my letters.

Knee replacement - biologics
I’d also be interested to hear of peoples experience of
knee

when on Amgevita, especially how long they were off meds for the operation

TSH level increase after total thyroidectomy(8 years ago)
Recently, I had a
knee
surgery
and during a subsequent blood test, my TSH level was checked and found to be 4.5. However, I had taken my medication (euthyrox 150mg) on the morning of this blood test. Therefore, the test was repeated and in the new test, the level was seen as 22.

Knee surgery or cardiac ablation first
Also t2diabetic, sleep apnea (stable) .Really concerned about having the
Knee
replacement
surgery
with afib and other complications that ensue. Considering an ablation first and then
knee
surgery
later next year. Any insights/experiences most apprciated.

Total knee replacement?
He had previously mentioned
knee
surgery
, to be considered after stabilising RA, which seems very successful so far, allowing for the loss of strength and stamina. I had never been keen having watched others struggling with two long sticks. However, they are getting worse.

knee surgery discussion with orthopedic surgeon
Hello out there, I would like to get some feedback from people who have had
knee
surgery
that have RA. My last surgery (bladder mesh removal) meant I had no RA drugs in me for a month and it was brutal, trying to heal and being in a big flare from the trauma on my body.

Terrified
I had
knee
surgery
almost 2 weeks ago and after the surgery I took the prescribed narcotics for 4 days. Every time I take these I get constipated. I started taking stool softeners (colace) and after a week nothing.

preserflo rear eye pain
I am seeing my consultant later today and will raise these items with him, but having gone through
knee

before, forums always helped identify the right questions, with people that have been through it. #preserflo Thanks

RLS worse after knee replacement
However, after recent
knee
replacement
surgery
(7th Feb), the RLS is driving me mad. I'm up every night after 1 or 2 hours' sleep and end up taking an opioid to settle it.Can the pain from the knee be causing it? Any advice welcome.
