Bristol Endo Clinics?
Hey! Maybe a long shot, but I’m wondering if anyone is Bristol based here, and has had any recent experience with the endo clinic in Southmead? Does anyone know what surgery wait lists are like? Thanks in advance 😊

Cataract surgery?
Has anyone had any cataract surgery while taking Pegasys? Is there a problem with eye surgery while taking Interferon? I'm about to be changed over to Pegasys from Hydrea, and also about to have cataract surgery. Some of the things I've read seem to indicate that may be a problem.

Little Laughter 😂
Good Morning ☀️ Beautiful day here today. I am with my brother up to the surgical center and he is having his nerves in his left knee frozen. He has this knee replacement twice last time a year ago. Has had pain since so this is the next step 🙏. Just received letter denying my prescription for migraines

Hashis and Graves? Watch and Wait has now caught up.
About 15 months or so, I had an appointment for a thyroid specialist as my thyroid tests pointed towards Graves. I had been hypothyroid for about 17years when my different results meant my gp prescribing less and less levo. When the amount became 12.5mcg, (after an original 150 mcg) I asked to be

post surgery bleeding. Does it ever stop?!?
I had my surgery on 6th October to remove endo and I haven’t stopped bleeding since. It’s really getting me down. It slows but it never goes. It’s really starting to impact on my mental health and I’m still experiencing pain. Nowhere near as bad as it was but still not ideal but I’m putting it down to

No surgery quite yet
So, I met with the surgeon this morning. When did they start graduating from medical school in infancy? My doctor should not be younger than my children! Anyway, he said that yes, I need gallbladder surgery, but the situation is not as urgent or dire as my GP's receptionist made it out to be. He

Dosage Gabapentin
I am concerned about the dosage of Gabapentin. I am a petite female, 75 years old and slight in build. Is this drug safe to take at maximum dosage for all adults regardless of age, weight and size? Am currently building up the nightly dose and have also been prescribed Trazodol to also take at night

Frequent Eye Prescription Changes and Cataract Surgery
Hi all, I am a GCA patient since AUG 22. I started on 60 MG Prednisone and have tapered to 5.5 mg since then using DSNS. I have had vision problems almost from the start -- blurry vision mostly, but now I have significant cataracts -- AND I've had to change my prescription 4 times since AUG 22. My

Thoracic aortic aneurysm.
I have an aortic aneurysm and a dissected descending aortic aneurysm. I have declined surgery and wonder if there is anyone else in the same position . Everyone seems to have had or is awaiting surgery and I feel a bit on my own with this. Is it very unusual to decline surgery?

fatigue after Pluvicto
I was diagnosed with PC in 2012…had robotic surgery followed by all of the assortment of meds that we all take. I’ve had 5 infusions of Pluvicto ending in July. I now have daily fatigue that causes me to nap 2+- hours every day; I used to be very active. What, if anything, are you doing to combat the

treatment or no treatment?
it’s been almost 3 years since i was diagnosed with a Gleason 8 prostate cancer, confined to the prostate. To date I have elected not to be treated but instead have been monitoring my PSA levels. Originally this was 6 now 15. I am 66 with no symptoms and no other health issues. I have declined treatment

Three years in
Today three years ago I walked into a emergency room. I could only walk 60 yards without resting. I had to stop driving 6 times during a 40 minute drive. Luckily I was admitted and luckily my B12 was finally tested and was <150 which is the lowest level that this particular lab tests for. I started

DBS stopped working
I’m looking to see if anyone has experienced similar DBS results, I had my DBS(GPI) surgery on 7/31 and immediately had positive results before the switch on.
