My Virgin cod liver oil delivered today.
Got 150ml of this from Rosita directly. I had no problem in just taking a teaspoon of it, quite nice, maybe I have weird taste buds. Was going to try it in my coffee, but thought, oh stop being a wimp woman, you've had 7 kids lol, so what's the problem!! Maybe the thought of how good this will

Working and endo
Hi all, I am looking for a bit of advise. This is the second time my endo has flared up after having two and a half years respite after my lap. It is weird that it has even happened as I have been on the pill since before my op and have been instructed to take it continuously which I have done and luckily

Extra virgin cod liver oil, or EVCLO
As I'm always interested in searching for new supplements, I thought that I would try cod liver oil, like my Mum used to give us as kids. Then I happened on the EVCLO, found it to be far superior from what I have read, so going to buy it today. Reasons being, strengthen our immune system, as with Hypo

Hi, after my aunt passed away of blocked heart arteries 6 months ago, I have worried pretty much non-stop about my heart. She was more than twice my age and had high blood pressure, high cholesterol + diabetes. None of which I have. I have been diagnosed with anxiety and depression in the past. My mind

New pain relief
Hi Ladies, I went to see my GP today and asked to have some stronger pain medication as the combination of co-codamol and naproxen weren't doing anything to help me. He has prescribed me tramadol which I have started taking and was expecting to feel woozy and light headed, which I do, but the pain

Recently Diagnosed and So Joined
After a long period of illness, I have recently been diagnosed with SLE. I've started on the Hydroxy. Any kind of steroids are out of the question as I have bi-polar (well controlled) and it's not worth the risk of any mentally-interesting side effects. I understand the hydroxy can take quite some time

Flaring badly!
In the midst of a horrible flare! My hands don't want to grip, my knees don't want to bend, nor does my back and I've just limped the entire way home at about 0.5mph. I'm not on any meds, can't take naproxen and really don't want to touch the co-codamol. I'm in agony. Does anyone have any tips to help

Hi I was diagnosed with overactive thyroid back in Dec 2010 with a result of 73. I tried PTU but even this would not bring my levels down. In the end after 2 years me and my consultant decided I would have radioactive therapy to remove the thyroid gland. I started on 75mg Levothyroxine. I have a healthy

Likely Viral meningitis
Hi there, I found this site through researching VM as my GP has diagnosed me as "likely" having it. My story starts about 35 years ago when I was aged 11, I was rushed into hospital with severe headache, vomiting, photophobia and neck stiffness. I was kept in isolation overnight and although I can't

Just to say HI :)
Hello Everybody, I hope everyone is keeping as well as they can and keeping out of the cold. I have not been around so much of late as my work has been mega busy, plus my new lady also takes up a lot of my time, but I just wanted to say I do pop in and read all the stories and news. Since my lung collapsed

Help please, my usual go to food of rice and chicken gave me bad stomach pains last night!
I'm new to this site so still finding my way around. I was diagnosed with IBS a few years ago after a bout of diarrhoea and a normal colonoscopy and it hadn't been too bad until last year when I had my gallbladder removed. A few days later the IBS flared up and has been pretty bad ever since then.
