How's long did it take everyone to recover?
I had laparoscopy on Friday and they removed endo from my uterosacral ligament and from the pouch of Douglas. I'm now 4 days post op and still in a lot of pain, taking co-codamol and ibuprofen and haven't moved much from my bed apart from popping to the toilet. How long should I expect this recovery

3 days post lap with successful endo removal
I am 22 years old and I have been suffering with severe symptoms of endo since October 2015, and on friday (16th Dec) I had my first ever anaesthetic/operation to diagnose and treat. Sometimes I almost feel a little guilty about this - as I know so many women go undiagnosed and un-listened to for years

I'm a newbie here
Hello all. I need a little advice and support, because I feel like I'm at the end of my tether. Just under three years ago I was given a diagnosis of PMR as I had awoken one morning with joint stiffness from head to toe. I responded very well to a high dose (30mg) of pred, but relapsed as soon as any

Advice/support please - new here!
Hello, I am 22 years old (just) and I have had suspected endo for just over a year now - I am due to have laparoscopy on 16th december so only a few more weeks to go. I thought that knowing my luck - as soon as I'd sign myself up for the laproscopy my symptoms would disappear and i'd (once again) go

Stop the rollercoaster, I want to get off..
After such a positive day on Thursday, my rollercoaster is now on a down slope. I saw my orthopedic surgeon on Friday. There is nothing that they can do for my trochanteric bursitis. So after 10 years of pain there is no relief in sight. All he can suggest is physio, acupuncture and steroids. I have

Is it normal to improve without treatment?
Hi everyone, I hope you are having a good day. For about 10 weeks I've been getting treatment of Celebrex and Co-codamol for suspected sero-negative rheumatoid arthritis, still waiting to see a rheumatologist. I've not been able to walk properly since May, due to the pain in my feet. Over the last

Vibrating feet
Sounds strange doesn't it? But I have googled as I don't understand why it's happening, but today they haven't stopped with the intermittent vibrating. I have no pain but it's annoying. I've read that it could be a vit b12 deficiency or I need to have a break from my vitamins that I'm already taking

pain in right shoulder, upper arm and lower arm and pins and needles in fingers.
Please help, about 3 weeks ago I woke up with a pain in my right shoulder, an ache and tightness (as if its being tightly squeezed) at the top of my arm and my forearm, and numbness in my fingers. My right arm also seems to be weaker, but movement isn't really restricted. Pain killers don't really

Any advice?
Hi! My problems started around 9 or 10 months ago now. My periods became irregular, sex became painful and I was having pain on my right side of my womb. I thought I had PID - I had this before when I got my IUS inserted a year before. Turns out I didn't, I had a 3.5 cm complex cyst. The pain kept getting

I'm desperately hoping for some help advice for my daughter. She has just turned 20yrs and has suffered delibating sacroiliac pain for 3 years now. She has had numerous injections, rf denervation (which made her pain worse) and is now having prolotherapy treatment.. I'm not sure this is working? She

Not sure if I actually have RA
Hi, I have been reading all of your posts and learning a lot, but I'm not sure if I have RA yet. I'm 54, with lifelong severe asthma and I have been having joint problems for quite some time, getting worse over the past year. I've been unable to walk properly since early May - very lame and slow.

Abdominal Pain and Sickle Cell crisis.
I recently had an episode of abdominal pain shortly after taking Co-codamol for pain relief . Over night I developed abdominal pain which led to nausea and vomiting. I later checked myself into A&E and was made to understand this could be an SCD crisis. I had taken co-codamol in the past with no problems
