Mirapexin Prolonged-Release
I am back on the DA's. I have now been on Prolonged-Release Mirapexin (0.26mg) since 1st April and have been more or less RLS-free ever since! I hardly dare to say it. Before that I was on 1200 mg Gabapentin which did not work very well as I had to complement with Co-Dydramol every night. And before

Pain relief
I am currently taking oramorph (4 x 5ml daily) i have tried other painkillers such as naproxen, codene, co-codamol etc but they don’t come close to touching my pain. I have been taking oramorph on and off for the last 5 years. I don’t want to continue taking it but i cannot manage my pain without it.

Lupus/APS and cod liver oil
Hi, I'm 49, and have lupus with antiphospholipid syndrome. I'm currently on lifelong warfarin, statins, vit D, hydroxychloroquine and methotrexate injections. The inflammatory arthritis is very painful, would cod liver oil be safe to take with anticoagulants? I think the oil would help with the inflammation

Blood in urine?
Last night I started having blood in my urine, I took a sample in to the doctors (easier said than done) I’ve had a message to say there’s no sign of infection so they’ve sent it to the lab for further testing, which is quite worrying. Obviously at the moment there’s a bit of a back log in the lab, so

Pelvic floor spasms/tightness? Try CBN patches.
While my pelvic floor tightness is a symptom of nerve pain, these patches helped a ton for the tightness. I discovered this while in Colorado a little while back, as I have had pelvic floor spasm for roughly 2 years and it hadnt been freed up in a while. I bought 3 patches made by Mary's Medicinals:

New to all this
Woke one morning in terrible pain all over, could hardly move. Managed to contact one Dr who said Sciatica and gave high strength co-codamol. They did not work so spoke to another Dr who gave prednisodol 12 x 5m a day for 7 days. Overnight, pain almost gone. 7 days later another Dr reduces dose to 11

Period pain or something more ?
Hi, I’m new to this and wasn’t to sure what community to post on. I’m 18 years old, and have had painful periods for most of the time since I first started my period. I must say, the pain has improved over the years as I went from being in pain for the first 2-3 days of my period, to just being in pain

Pain Killers Pain Management Opiates and Stimulants
I have used Co Codamol 30-500 for many years to control lower back pain. I find the side effects of opiates "tiredness" so disabling and the long term use means they are becoming ineffective. There are numerous other negative effects caused by Opiates. I have tried some of the Neuropathic I,e. Amitriptyline

Weaned off Pramipexole. Gabapentin?
Hi All. Have successfully weaned myself off Pramipexole. Had been taking Gabapentin alongside for some time. Wanted to come off all medication and wanted to feel “normal” again so I didn’t have the side effects of these meds the next day. After about 3 weeks of horrendous nights of not sleeping at all

Pain
Morning everyone. I’ve woken up this morning and have really bad pain. The kind that makes you cry. I have been having flare ups since November and was last seen by my rheumy nurse in Feb and given a steroid injection which helped a little but was very short lived, the nurse was going to be speaking

Help!
Hello, I don't know what to do about my shoulder pain and neck pain. The first signs of this was around 3 months ago where initially it really was just a dull pain I thought not much of it but it became worse as the weeks went by, so I started to take just some normal Ibrophen for it but it was not helping

CBD to help endo&IBS pain?
I started smoking weed socially about 2 years ago (maybe once a month). I noticed how much it helped my endo pain alongside my IBS AND my sleep. My pain has been excruciating at the moment and I cannot smoke weed all the time ( due to living with parents, money etc). I’ve done a lot of research on CBD
