Vitamin D
Hi all, I'm struggling with taking vitamin D. When I take it it makes the whirring noise in my left ear really loud that it keeps me awake at night. I've only suffered with this since being on levothyroxine. As a result my vitamin D levels have dropped because I haven't been taking it because the noise

Gabapentin stopped working
Gabapentin? I have taken this for about two years' 3 x 300mg a day and it had alleviated the horrible pain somewhat. I have gained about a stone in weight and I am bloated all of the time. Also I find it difficult to urinate. However, the drug now seems to have lost a lot of it's efficacy and I am

Fed up and limping around trying to walk my dog on a crutch!
Barnaby2 Hi there-well I am still not completely diagnosed. In January the GP thought that I had PMR and was put on Prednisolone. The pain got a lot better until gradually reducing to 9mg in July. A different GP as I had complained that all the pains were coming back asked for advice from a Rheumatologist

Co-codamol side effects
Hi all, has anyone had any experience taking Co-codamol please? I've been prescribed these tablets for a knee problem but I've never used any other pain killers apart from paracetamol before. I just wanted to check if anyone had found any heart related reactions... Thanks.

Is severe pain 2 days after a period a PCOS symptom?
Hi all, I'm curious to know if what I'm experiencing is a known additional symptom of PCOS or could it possibly be caused by endometriosis? Or something else? I am 35, was diagnosed with PCOS in my early 20s. I'm not on the pill or anything to manage it (due to having DVT once in the past caused by

Struggling after long period of remission
If I were needing treatment again for sero negative arthritis would they put me back on DMARD’s after 4 years without them? Previously took Sulphasalazine, Methotrexate, Hydroxychloroquine altogether then had bony erosions in wrist which was fused. Came off those and tried Leflunomide which I had a reaction

Has anyone else had this type pain?
Ok. I know I’ve been posting a lot over the last 3 weeks. If this is endometriosis then I have never had a flare up or symptoms like this before. I was diagnosed with endometriosis over a year ago through laparoscopy. I just mean that the doctors initially thought that there was another reason for my

Help Staying Asleep!!
I have Parkinson’s and I’m 59. Had it for awhile I guess. I go to bed around 10:00 pm and wake up around 2:00 am. I lay alone on the sofa until morning. I want to sleep so desperately. Falling asleep is easy. Staying asleep is impossible. I’ve tried everything natural there is on the market. I take a

Any midnight treatments/ tricks to help sleep when Codeine hasn't worked and stem the attack?
I'm 28, Male and have been living with it for 10 years, on/ off and manageable in earlier life, it's progressively getting worse, especially recently as I've lost weight/ exercising more. Have tried Gabapentin and Iron supplements in the past to no avail. Usually it comes on like an attack either when

Co-codamol and daytime drowziness
Occasionally when nothing else works I'll take cocodamol for my RLS just to be able to sleep! I've started to notice on the nights that I do this though I have this awful fatigue/difficulty concentrating at work. I didn't think something I'm taking at night would affect me so much the next day. Anyone
