I take Advil once in a while. I also use Theraworx cream for joint pain. That works better. Good luck!

Thanks for your answer. I found out that Advil is the same as Ibuprofen Gel so I will carry on with that and see if it helps as I’ve not been using it long.

Hi, No I’m still in constant pain and going back to see doctor tomorrow. I’m not sure what else they can do till I get my X-ray on Saturday and they get the results. I don’t know about you but the nights are the worse as it’s so hard to get any sleep. It feels like I’ve been kicked hard in the knee. Thanks for asking though.

It could be the weather change. It's warm, but windy here in NJ. I am feeling good. Today. Night time and early in the morning my knee is stiff and I have to walk around. It helps.

Make sure your knees are warm. I feel pain long before I feel cold. Attention to what you wear, synthetic fibres are much colder than natural ones. Try exercises. Strengthening the muscles round the knee will help with the pain.

Read up on an anti inflammatory diet.

Thanks for your reply. Is it ok to go for a slow walk as I’m not sure if it’ll make it hurt more.

All these tips help me tremendously as I do t feel so alone with this.

When my knee was bad I used kneepainexplained.com a lot. A clever chiropractor then diagnosed torn cartilage and helped me heal. Keeping it moving and building up strength is very important, while being guided by the pain. I had Co-codamol when I broke my shoulder, but stopped because it lowered my body temperature and made things worse.

I read a book Strong women and men beat arthritis, at least fifteen years ago, that set me on the path of self help.
