Co-codamol and daytime drowziness

Occasionally when nothing else works I'll take cocodamol for my RLS just to be able to sleep! I've started to notice on the nights that I do this though I have this awful fatigue/difficulty concentrating at work. I didn't think something I'm taking at night would affect me so much the next day. Anyone else noticed this correlation? I'm going to try and not take them and see if I get any better, but when my RLS is really bad it is the only thing that usually works for me

Maybe take it a bit earlier, or lower the dose if possible?
