Hi all, I’m suppose to be starting belimumab infusions next week, however there is a shortage in the medication so I’m just waiting for a new date I’m on all the usual medication for lupus but nothing seems to be working, I have had rituximab last year and the first lot lasted 5 months which was great

shrinking lung syndrome
Has anyone else been diagnosed with a rare condition called shrinking lung syndrome. It’s so rare, approximately only 0.5-1.1 % people with Lupus get it. I’m real scared as at time I feel like I’m slowly suffocating! Still getting more tests done to see if diaphragm isn’t partially paralyzed. Did you

Reference Library of Papers about Dutasteride for Treating Prostate Cancer
Here is a library of 20 papers about using Dutasteride to treat prostate cancer. In one study, Dutasteride monotherapy reduces PSA by 50%, reduces prostate volume by 25%, and reduces tumor volume by 30%, after 6 months of treatment, compared to placebo (Moore, 2017). https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov

pigment dispersion syndrome
Hi lovely people 😀 I have EDS, not lupus, but many of my symptoms are similar I’ve recently been dxd with pigment dispersion syndrome by an ophthalmologist at our regional eye hospital. It happens when pigment from the iris sheds onto other parts of the eye, causing inflammation and vision problems

Kidney issues because of CLL
Hello all! Anyone had kidney issues related to CLL? I will do the treatment not because of my lab results but because CLL filled my kidneys with white cells and led my to nephrotic syndrome. My hematologist is confident that with the treatment they will start to work again because those with cells

Acute kidney failure - creatinine is climbing
My hubby's treatment is venetoclax and acalabrutinib (he previously had obinutuzumab too). He is also taking sulfameth trimeth (for ammonia) and valacyclivor (for shingles) dropped from 1200 to 800 mg a day. We just saw a Renal Specialist Dr and she said that they really don't know the full extent

Feeling sick after HD (advice for my dad)
Hello! My dad (72) has been on HD for two years* now. Lately, he often finds that his blood pressure drops and he feels sick after he's returned home from dialysis, even if he feels okay during treatment. He says the clinic staff watches his BP closely as well as the amount of fluid they're removing

Magnesium as ozonated magnesium oxides
Hello again. Slow Dragon said that there needs to be 4 hours after T4 or T3 before taking Magnesium. I take magnesium from ozonated magnesium oxides with 3% potassium before bed to help with any constipation that still lingers a little. I asked the company about their product and they said they don't

Unsure how to proceed after flare continues
I wrote awhile back about having a return of PMR symptoms after successfully (over a year and a half) tapering to 5mg and staying on that dose for two months. The weather had gotten a lot colder here in Seattle and I attributed the flare partly to that. I increased my dose to 10mg for a week and had
