Lost my mother

Hello everyone I am here to share my story of my mother who lost her battle to sepsis and chronic kidney disease. It was painful to watch her lying on the ICU bed and with ventilator. I lost her on the 18th of April 2024. My heart cannot accept the fact that I have lost her and she is no more with me. Those last days were painful and quite heartbreaking. My world was torn apart. Kidney disease is something that is extremely dangerous and even the smallest sign or symptom should be taken seriously. I saw blood running down her nose and she was hardly able to speak. 2024 was something unexpected .

So sorry for your loss. Sadly the attitude I get is from my doctors at stage 3B is to see a nephrologist. No concern with A1C of 5.7 (pre-diabetic) either. Unfortunately I have had high blood pressure for 41 years only moderately controlled until I saw a cardiologist 20 years ago. You did the best you could with whatever knowledge was given you. I will pray for you both…..
