Urine albumin:creatinine ratio:

View test result

2.1 mg/mmol

I’m hoping this is good news and my consultant is happy with this urine creatinine result as my cretanine levels were slightly raised at 95 and eGFR 59 (lower).

can anyone confirm to me this that hopefully this shows I don’t have kidney problems or diabetes?

Many thanks

Dear Bucket13

This is a question that your own health care professional is best placed to answer, as only they have access to your medical records.

We suggest talking this through with your own doctor or health care professional in the first instance.

Best wishes

A urine albumin-to-creatinine ratio of 2.1 mg/mmol indicates a small amount of albumin in your urine. While it’s slightly above the normal range (typically considered to be less than 2.0 mg/mmol), it’s not necessarily alarming, especially if you're managing other health conditions.
