Uti Symptoms but results are negative

Hello everyone, sorry for my English it's not my first language, I've been struggling with this for at least 3-4 years... my biggest issue is that the problem is causing me to be tired and unable to focus or be creative other than that I'm fine and don't feel a difference.

Im almost 25, 1.85 roughly, I don't smoke, I don't drink

I get a urge to urinate way too frequnetly at least from what I was used to, my urine is cloudy yellowish, it's mostly never white even if i drink a lot of water, sometimes I get the urge to pee and I don't and only some drops, sometimes it burns when I urinate. Also my urine has a weird odder, funnily enough when I try homeremdies / supplements that are supposed to ease UTI symptoms they actually work, my urine starts looking white at times, cloudy urine is sometimes gone till I stop using.

If anyone has any suggestions what to do, I'm lost honestly

Kind regards,

Danny

Hi Danny, it's not clear if you've seen a doctor? What do they say?

Yes I've been to a urologist and he sent me to do those tests:

Blood work, I did like 3

Urine tests, sperm test

Ultra sound scan, prostate size 19cc - also the doctor said I'm fully emptying my bladder accroding to the ultra sound scan.

Have you seen a urologist or a nephrologist (This could be a urinary or a kidney problem)?

As Norwich1 says have you seen a urologist? Also, if the home remedies work, is this because you are changing your diet in a small way while you are taking them? ie do you usually eat/drink something (even something 'innocent') that inadvertently causes it? But for sure see a urologist.

Yes I've seen a urologist, what I mean by home remedies is cranberry nothing crazy, it only eases the symptoms I still don't get a good rest at night

Cranberry juice is the folk remedy that I would have recommended. If that was working for you, then that's at least something good. I like cranberry juice, but I know that not everyone does.

The urologist didn't have any other ideas? This is their specialty.

Not all infections are bacterial. Did they only test for bacterial infection, or did they also test for viral or fungal infection?

Not all kidney or urinary issues are caused by infection. My grandfather developed cysts on his kidneys, but by the time they were discovered the problem was very advanced. (He was about 80 and in poor health, so the kidney issue did contribute to him passing away. If the problem had been detected and treated years earlier, he might have had a few more years...but he was already old.)

The kidneys also have the adrenal glands on them. If there is a problem with your adrenal glands, it might be an alternate explanation to why you feel tired and unable to focus. The adrenal glands produce adrenaline (also known as epinephrine), and adrenaline is used to make noradrenaline (aka norepinephrine).

A lack of adrenaline and/or noradrenaline can make person feel tired and unable to focus.

(I should know...I have Inattentive ADHD that is treated by a medication that improves how well noradrenaline works in my brain. It makes it so that I can focus. Incidentally, that medication [atomoxetine] also has another condition it is used for in children: enuresis, aka "bed wetting". Therefore, a possible side effect is that it can cause some people difficulty with urinating.)

I'm not saying that you have ADHD. I am saying that your kidneys and your adrenal glands are literally connected to each other, and if one set is sick then the other set might be sick as well.

Maybe you need to be seen by an endocrinologist (who would be familiar with the adrenal glands), and/or a nephrologist (kidney specialist). A urologist would do some treatment of the kidneys, but they really specialize in the urinary system (bladder, urethra, and at least some parts of the reproductive system, as well as the kidneys).

What I'm saying is "get a second opinion".
