Medication and gastroparesis
Just a quick one. As some of you are aware, I have gastroparesis at the moment and have eaten next to nothing for the past 6 days. There is movement according to my GP but it's just so slow and bowel sounds are present but really hard to find. My question is, should I continue to take all my sjogrens

Asthma help - is this asthma?
Ok so background - Diagnosed asthmatic as a young child. Took inhalers daily until 10ish? Seemed to be fine through teen years. Flared back up at uni (18-21) then seemed to settle again. Now at 27 I feel breathless maybe 5-6 times a month. But after reading other people's stories online I'm now questioning

Hello, I’ve been taking Omeprazole 20mg for 10 years with no major issues.. about a month ago I noticed I was getting heartburn, went to my Doctor and he put me on Dexilant 60mg twice a day. It helped with the heartburn but I got REALLY sick! I had diarrhea and I felt just awful. I think the dosage

Migraines
Afternoon, i am 9 weeks post cryoablation and in the week following the procedure I had 4 or 5 migraines with aura, I wasn't surprised as I'd read the fact sheet, and then they stopped after about a week. But I have recently been having side effects from omeprazole and diltiazem. Gp took me off omeprazole

Inflammation v Diclofenac etc
For around ten years I have had AF (latest report said 74% of the time) and also chronic inflammatory joint and muscle pain; both have been satisfactorily controlled (AF by PM and Bisoprolol) (inflammation by Diclofenac) and I have functioned and worked fully (if a little slowly at times!) and painless

About a year ago my rh extensor muscles became immobile, this this is a final update on my condition. I've previously posted about the progress and now a year on its finally ok. I still get some muscle twinges when I extend the fingers, but every thing is working. One thing that has helped me a lot is

8 week update
Morning I thought I'd do an 8 week post Ablation update. My heart has been behaving beautifully with only occasional short runs of palpations. My groin healed no problem. The only problem was the EP increased my omeprazole to 40mg a day and after about 6 weeks of the higher dose I had severe stomach

Cabbage juice - yes or no?
Hi, quick question: I have Hashis and am on Levo, having started it around 8 weeks ago. But I also have chronic gastritis and a small hiatus hernia. I've tried Omeprazole before but it wasn't particularly effective and I moved to Ranitidine as I know low stomach acid is a real problem for those of us

Prednisolone free for two weeks!
So far, so good just passed two weeks of no prednisolone, omeprazole, alendrotnic acid and colecalciferol etc etc. After almost three years of daily medication, first for GCA then PMR there is a great feeling of freedom. Hopefully this is not a false dawn this time around!

OMEPRAZOLE HAIR LOSS
Yes, I am losing hair while taking OMEPRAZOLE. Started falling two weeks after I started to take. Also I have osteoporsis, and very bad in left hip. This med also increases bone fractures especially in hips and wrist. My doctor knows this so why prescribe this for. She had given another med a year ago

When to take meds
Hi everyone, I would be interested in your thoughts on how to space out meds? I used to take my thyroxine first thing but for the last year I have had to take low dose omeprazole (PPI) which has to be first thing so I decided to move thyroxine to night-time along with my contraceptive pill. Then there
