8 week update

Morning I thought I'd do an 8 week post Ablation update.

My heart has been behaving beautifully with only occasional short runs of palpations. My groin healed no problem. The only problem was the EP increased my omeprazole to 40mg a day and after about 6 weeks of the higher dose I had severe stomach pains so I was taken off it. But it has a rebound effect when you stop it and I'm still suffering with stomach issues and fatigue, I am eating a Gerd friendly diet to minimise the reflux.

Unfortunately after 4 weeks I was also diagnosed with long standing moderate sleep apnoea and was issued with a CPAP Machine immediately so as not to damage my heart further after the ablation. Luckily I have taken to the machine well and I am sleeping much better and starting to feel the benifit already.

So I am much better for the Ablation just feeling rough from everything else 🙄

Sorry about you feeling rough but really pleased that your heart is behaving. Our friend has a CPAP machine - said it changed his life.
