hi on here on behalf of my partner.he has been to see rheumatology with regards a diagnosis of psoriatic arthritis, she took bloods and did more xrays, from this he has been given an appointment to see a respiratory physiologist. Shoulder inflammation and pain over a month
Hi all Wondering if shoulder inflammation and pain for over a month in both shoulders is normal with psoriatic arthritis or if I should be contacting my RA or something. Haven’t had this before, been on RA meds since 2016 and on Cimzia a biologic for a couple years. Advice appreciated!

Tocilizumab
I have GCA and PMR. I am on 40mg Pred. The inflammation markers have normalised, but I still have headaches. Doctors want to reduce Pred because of the side effects I am experiencing. I started Methotrexate injections, but they were paused for the last two weeks to see if they were causing the headaches

Kevzara (sarilumab) to treat PMR
I am 54, diagnosed with PMR June 2022 but symptoms started Nov 2021. I have tapered Pred to 8mg and most days my pain is around a 2 or 3 out of 10. Reasonable, I felt for active PMR and I'll take Tylenol Arthritis to help with pain if needed. But, my Rheumatologist wants me off Pred ASAP. He wants me

Worsening symptoms with Peri-menopause
Hi all, I’ve not been on here for a long time. In the last 2 years I’ve seen a change in my psoriatic arthritis symptoms. Starting off with just the odd flare here & there in joints I hadn’t experienced before - then finding to recently having flares every week or different flares within a week. I saw

Looking for People With Palindrome Arthritis
Hi, I'm new here. I have a complex lot of health issues, and unfortunately, a dreadful GP, who referred me finally (I've been suffering "officially" since I was 6 yrs old, and I'm now 47), they sent me to an equally dreadfully Rheumatologist who discharge me in just 6 minutes without further examination

orthotics for big toe arthritis
Hi, I have recently developed big toe arthritis (hallux limitus). I have tried standard insoles but they only provide limited relief and don't stop my big toes from bending so the pain continues when I walk. I've seen loads of orthotics for sale but am unsure which would help specifically with big toe

Adalimumab?
I’ve been reading posts about Adalimumab and I’m a bit confused. It seems to be called a few different names and also seems to be used alongside Methotrexate or something else. I will only be taking it on its own as I can’t take Methotrexate. Is anyone else using it on its own?

Hello everyone, I would be very grateful for your experiences and advice. I saw my rheumatologist last week and she has diagnosed PMR & Rheumatoid arthritis in addition to GCA which I’ve had since July last year. I am currently on 12mg of Pred and have been trying to reduce to 11 which has been difficult
