respiratory physiologist

hi on here on behalf of my partner.he has been to see rheumatology with regards a diagnosis of psoriatic arthritis, she took bloods and did more xrays, from this he has been given an appointment to see a respiratory physiologist. Any ideas why this might be? he also has an appointment with rheumatology the day before his other app with physiologist. Assume this if for results of bloods and possible start on methotrexate.

I have psoriatic arthritis and I don’t know why they would send your husband to a breathing specialist unless he has breathing problems for some other reason or has the PSA attacked his chest area?

he already has asthma so I'm thinking it may be related to that as I think this arthritis can have an effect on it. Also he had covid in July. I was also wondering if its part of a test to see if they can give him methotrexate. He's also been having problems with pain in his chest and brining blood up a couple of time. A and e ruled out a clot. I'm hoping that of it was anything very serious they would want to see him in less than a months time for it.
