Mostly my RA symptoms are controlled it's the chronic fatigue / insomnia that I struggle with from the Fibro that makes life really hard. I've just been told about LDN for

#PancakeDay with RA
We took to the local High Street and asked the public to flip pancakes! The challenge was to flip a pancake, firstly as they would normally, and then with our RA glove which simulates what it is like to have Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) so that they could see the difference. Every single person said

Need to lose 10lbs
Hi I'm 67 and quite healthy besides arthritis and asthma I have had several lower body surgeries for damaged feet and ankles. I have arthritis in my shoulders, a hip and ankles. I walk about 2 -3 miles a day but just can't shift this belly fat. I am a Vegan and not addicted to sweet food such as cake

Shoulder and neck pain
Hi all, haven't been on here for a while. Hope all are well and not too much pain. Have been in remission for a couple of years now so in December it was decided by my rheumatologist to stop my methotrexate as I had been reducing it anyway, neck and shoulder pain has started again which is what I had

Oldies,
I have just turned 70. Have always exercised and kept an eye on my weight. I swim three times a week and also do pilates. My question is twofold. 1 Am I too old to start running the couch to 5K programme. I used to be a regular runner until about five years ago. 2 Is the programme suitable for someone

Tramadol Side Effects
Hi all - I've been taking Tramadol once a day at night (2x50mg) for the last three or so months for arthritis and find I am frequently nodding off in the daytime even, to my horror, at work. Is this a side effect and is there any way I can avoid this while still getting the pain relief from the medication

Other People's reaction to the diagnosis of RA
Have your friends shunned you etc?... Has your partner/spouse/pet sheep reacted badly to the news? If you're diagnosed with RA at a young age, people's perception is that only 'the old' get arthritis! most short circuit at the news!

Can Rheumatoid be active without significantly increased Inflammatory Markers?
I'm new here (only found out about this forum today). I called up my GP to find out my blood test results, and the only comment on it was "nothing of interest, tell patient all is fine". The receptionist couldn't tell me my results and my GP would only flag it if my inflammatory markers had gone up significantly

Make exercise part of my daily routine
I have arthritis and my left knee is particularly bad at times. I do want to do something about it now, I am desperate to lose 2st. I have mastered my food habits and now I need to take exercise more seriously.

My husband
Hi my husband has just been diagnosed with fibromyalgia apparently caused by inflammatory arthritis. He has been ill now for just about two years and is depressed and angry. I would appreciate any tips you can give on how to help him cope. Many thanks

Diagnosis
I suffer with osteoarthritis, Graves disease, Depression and anxiety. Feel so unwell. I feel sure I have fibromyalgia. Been back and forward to G P but when I asked if I could possibly have Fibro, he said what was the point of a diagnosis as nothing could be done. He did diagnose chronic pain syndrome
