Wondering if shoulder inflammation and pain for a month in both shoulders is normal with psoriatic arthritis or if I should be contacting my RA or something. Haven’t had this before, been on RA meds since 2016 and on Cimzia a biologic for a couple years. Advice appreciated!

I have been diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis, and shoulder pain was one of my early and continuing symptoms. Initially it felt like tendinitis, but is now deep-seated pain in the joint itself. Hope this helps. Someone else suggested it might be PMR, which they thought mine was at first. Best to check with your Rheumy.
sadly yes. I have PSA and it attacks all your joints. In my case I have had two hips replaced now need both shoulders replaced. There is also the SCJ which I didn’t know but that has deteriorated as well and will need surgery. PSA can affect any joint or attached tendon. Enthesisus and Bursitus very common and try to hope it doesn’t go into the spine. My in knackered Good luck.
