CBD oil with AF and blood thinners
My mum has painful arthritis and we are considering using CBD oil to manage it, leaving a 4 hour gap between medicine. Just wondering what people's experience has been ???

Pain relief
Waiting to start on my medication but wondering if anyone can recommended any medication/ointments/creams/herbal medication that eases the pain of psa. Even if it’s just to get some sleep. Thanks in advance.

I think I know why my rheumy is so dismissive of my arthritis, I have the wrong type. Apparently it is rheumatoid arthritis that goes with autoimmune issues and I have osteoarthritis. I am just "wear and tear" despite being ill for most of my life and probably having used my joints less than other healthy

Apology
Most of the folks on this forum have a wonderful, empathetic spirit that is quite comforting and makes me wish I could say things in such a way. Forgive me for being such a 'redneck' and blunt, and sometimes sarcastic person in words. I try to remember that sarcasm is like sulfuric acid to relationships

I’m on week 3 enjoying it so far. I am doing this to help lose weight and get fit. I have rheumatoid arthritis so need to build up my exercise slowly this app is helping me to do this. I’m so pleased as I always loved running.

swollen joints
A couple of the joints on my left hand have become quite swollen and painful, but how do I know whether it's boring old arthritis or an effect of the limited systemic scleroderma, which is my diagnosis? And does it matter??

Two Years Into Osteoarthritis
I started walking to relieve some of my “multiple site” osteoarthritis. Its Winter here in Wisconsin, so getting out there is hit and miss, depending on the road conditions. My docs at the VA wont prescribe anything for this condition except Ibuprofen. Ive read that ibuprofen breaks down the cartilage

Is Xeljanz working for your Psoriatic Arthritis?
I'm new here. Diagnosed close to 5 years ago now with Psoriatic Arthritis. Is anyone taking Xeljanz for Psoriatic Arthritis? I was so hopeful that biologics were going to work for me but have tried many meds these last few years that have not worked - Methotrexate, Simponi, Embrel, Otezla, Inflectra.

Odd information from researching showing anti-inflammatory results of... Beer?
I've read more than once from sources I deem credible that beer is good for inflammation. Guideline is 1 to 4 per week to bring it down. Also read other info, mostly from alternative medicine sites and general health articles that say stay away. So far I've found some legitimate studies, but they have

Hi. I need some advice. I’ve had PMR for a year and a bit and been managing well. Tapered from 15 mg down to 7.5 and was tapering to 7 over Christmas and NewYear. I overdid it at new year and started having pain in my thigh muscle and then my arm, so I went up to 10 mg for a week. The pain in thigh lessened

Cutaneous Vasculitis
Hi all Back in early 2015 I had the most awful rash and raised itchy lumps over the lower part of my legs. I went to my GP who suggested treating the whole family for Scabies. After many tests and appointments later and biopsies they confirmed Cutaneous Vasculitis. Back in 2018 from July to December

Not RA
So seen the rheumatologist today, all the aching disformed joints are osteoarthritis, dry mouth, throat, cough & 1 dry eye to drink water, get eye drops. The raised rheumatoid factor he wasn't worried about or the raised pv. So good news in a way as do not require dmards, but still in pain and nothing

Why is nobody talking about juvenile arthritis?
I just heard that my friend's nice has been diagnosed at the age of 11 and it scares me that she will be put on hard drugs without any consideration of the alternatives first. How can we live in the information age and still choose to just succumb to medicine without a thought for other options?
