ivf and endometriosis: gender selection allowed?
I have researched that you can do gender selection with
IVF
in the uk for medical reasons but that list of medical reasons I cannot find anywhere. Does anyone know if endometriosis is an allowable medical condition to select the gender through
IVF
? Thanks

transporting embryos for testing
Has anyone completed an
IVF
cycle at one clinic then transported embryos to another clinic for PGT-A testing? The clinic I am at does not do testing however due to age and 2 resent miscarriages I am considering testing.

OIs anyone else in the same boat with trying for a sibling and it just not happening?
I write this less than a week after our last round of
IVF
resulted in a BFN and I guess I'm looking for a bit of moral support.

mild IVF? not great so far.
Just an update on how mild
IVF
is going so far for anyone interested: After multiple (7!) miserable attempts with traditional
IVF
(1-2 mature eggs retrieved each time), I finally switched to a mild protocol.

I missed the meal due to trying to eat healthier for
IVF
, and it took her 10 days to text me to tell me - excuse being she’s been busy with work 🫠. I’m already feeling a bit disregarded (especially as the other girls were told not to tell me), and she knows that I’m preparing for
IVF
.

Fatigue, anaemia and chest pain
Just waiting for an
IVF
appointment. I've stopped eating gluten, not having caffeine or alcohol. Taking supplements. Eating well, sleeping well, exercising and built in nice activities to do each week to help with low mood.

Hello - I stumbled across this thread when searching desperately for answers I was really hopeful to find some blogs of ladies who are undergoing
ivf
with not many follicles - I’ve been injecting for 8 nights now and introduced another last night - I had 11 follicles on Monday - they were small but I

Hydroxychloroquine before Stims!
I don’t have time for the trial but my
ivf
clinic abroad has said they will prescribe it if I want them to, they don’t know that much about it but are supportive based on my Uk haematologist suggestion.

3rd Scan - 2 nearly there & lots of tiny follicles…
Also until my second scan I didn’t understand that this cycle attempt doesn’t mean the
IVF
cycle ends if it fails. The
IVF
only ends if we go ahead with egg retrieval. I’m 37 with a history of not ovulating. PCOS means lower egg quality….

Slow heartbeat 7 weeks
I had my 7 week scan today after a successful
IVF
cycle and everything looked perfect BUT the heartbeat was slow at 90bpm. Doctor said it should be above 100bpm and google suggests it should be above 110/120bpm. Back in a week to see if things have progressed.

IVF - the number slide
To get to
IVF
I had a laparoscopy to remove a cyst and clip a hydrosalphinx - but had my body been “healthy” without those issues it still at my age would have taken 26 cycles (over two years) to get that one egg classed as normal and with a higher (but not guaranteed) expectation to implant.

how long did you have to wait for cycle review apt?
Baffling given how quick I was booked in for the
IVF
cycle in September after my fertility MOT at the end of July. What are your clinics standard wait types for reviews? I feel pretty angry that we had paid privately but now we are in another limbo again 😢. Thanks!

Anyone have success with a stimulated FET transfer?
Hi everyone, I know all of you have your own experiences with
IVF
and while I haven't posted a lot recently, I do get a lot of support on this forum. I'm a week away from my fifth and final frozen embryo transfer.
