Bad skin during IVF
I am having terrible skin at the moment. Since starting on Progynova tablets the texture of the skin on my face has gone very strange, almost a bit leathery in places. Make up sits really weirdly on my skin now and it’s making me so self conscious. I wondered if anyone else had experienced that and

Time off for IVF
Hi, can anyone please advise?I have egg collection Friday. They say about 5 days after for embryo transfer. Do I need to take time off work in between? I don't want to be stressed at work before transfer but I would like to keep my annual leave for after the transfer if that is more important. Thanks

Donor eggs in Czech Republic
Hello all, After initial success with
IVF
with my darling daughter conceived at 41 (super thankful and blessed), I have had a further 6 fresh cycles, achieving only one pregnancy with a medicated miscarriage on Xmas day. At the age of 44 I'm now moving to donor eggs.

Flying with medication
Has anyone had any experience flying with
IVF
medication (Lubion, cyclogest, progynova). Do I need a letter from my clinic? It’s with Ryanair if that makes a difference! 🤣

Progynova 2 mg
Hi All, I’ve been proscribed Progynova as part of my
IVF
protocol. I’ve been taking it three times a day for the past three days and I’m in lots of pain and discomfort. I’ve been diagnosed with stage 4 endo and I think Progynova is making my symptoms much worse.

Should i just give up? I am so confused about what to try next. My head is a total mess and feel like i cant go on today.
I am looking at either mild
ivf
(embryo banking) or a three cycle programme via access fertility if I’m eligible. I think both consultants I speak to will want me to take their protocol and believe its the best.

BRCA genetic testing providers
My
IVF
cycle is being funded by the NHS, but at clinic that works with both private and NHS funded patients and genetic testing of embryos is offered privately.

total fertilisation failure
Hi, Wonder if anyone has any success stories after an initial
ivf
round resulting in total fertilisation failure? Here for tube reasons but looks likely really poor egg quality aswell. Told no concerns with sperm - 13 eggs collected but only 6 mature.

IVF Wales NHS
I just wondered if there's anyone else out there waiting for
IVF
in Wales through the NHS? We've been on the waiting list since July 2023 and I've read it can take a minimum of 12 months just for an initial consultation!

IVF and exercise
I was just wondering if anyone had been given specific advice on exercise while having
IVF
. I feel like my doctor is a bit vague every time I ask . I’m 33 and usually exercise 3-5 times a week, either HIT or weight training and have done so for years ( a CrossFit style gym).

Looking for IVF experienced Endocrinologist
Or is there a recommendation or a post where we can identify few of endocrinology specialists with focus on
IVF
? I know its not allowed to share names of clinics and consultants but would be nice to know how to best approach this.
