Anyone have success with a stimulated FET transfer?

Hi everyone, I know all of you have your own experiences with IVF and while I haven't posted a lot recently, I do get a lot of support on this forum. I'm a week away from my fifth and final frozen embryo transfer. I've done medicated FET transfers - one was a chemical pregnancy and the other was negative. I've also done two modified natural transfers with trigger for ovulation and progesterone support (with suppositories) that were negative. My last transfer that was unsuccessful I had a trilaminar lining of 7.1 mm so now we did a stimulated FET transfer and I have an 8.7 mm triple lining which is the best it's ever been. My doctor said I have a choice whether to do progesterone 200 mg vaginally as a suppository or 50 mg progesterone in oil injection but she believes that I should do Injections to maximize chances of success because injections are better absorbed than suppositories. I asked my doctor if progesterone levels could be too high before transfer and she said "no - progesterone levels can be too low but it can't be too high." Now of course I'm reading studies online that seem to contradict this and say too high levels of progesterone can negatively affect implantation and live birth rates. Did anyone here do a stimulated FET transfer protocol with added progesterone in oil and have success? Thanks for taking time to read my long post.

we do pessaries and injection (lubion) as pessaries are the best way to get it to where it needs to be but as your doctor said not everyone absorbs them great so this way we have a 2 pronged attack and best of both worlds. You could maybe ask about that perhaps? Good luck 🤗 xx

Thanks for replying. I would rather just do that pessaries but I'll have to trust my doctor and hope this transfer works.

hi Meliana, I did a stimulated FET and my progesterone was sky high on transfer day. It’s for fully medicated FET that it could be too high but it can’t be too high for natural/stimulated FET as most of it is your natural progesterone. I was on 3 pessaries and a Lubion injection each day. It was my first transfer to work and gave me my son.

Wishing you all the best xxx
