COVID between cycles and impact on egg quality ... Any knowledge/ experience?
Hey all - so I was meant to start my next cycle of
IVF
in 3 weeks time. I have been so healthy; haven't caught a cold or even a sniffle for the past 12 months but have somehow managed to pick up COVID from somewhere.

Natural v Medicated FET
Textbook perfect
IVF
, except 5 times we haven't made it past test date and have had BFNs throughout. I had said earlier in this process that I would prefer medicated cycles - I'd prefer the control and the safety of knowing that I wasn't missing out on an easy fix.

Preparing for FET
I have gone through numerous failed
IVF
procedures where the quality of my eggs haven't been good enough to make embryos so my partner and I decided on donor eggs. We were very fortunate in finding a match very quickly but everything we have gone through has been very tough.

Surgical management of Miscarriage questions
Sometimes I feel it is so hard for a working mum who is also undergoing the
ivf
treatment for a sibling. It is so hard to balance the treatment and work. Don’t know whether it is possible to travel by plane after 5 days. Any advice is welcome.

Egg Donor babies
Very excited as we feel this is our route to having our 2nd baby and longed for sibling of our DD who was conceived in round 2 of 5
IVF
cycles. We are using Beacon CARE Fertility in Dublin (we are based in Belfast) and wondered if anybody had any positive stories about them that they could PM me.

Down regulation - blood test?
The reason why I had to go through the down regulation route is that my first
IVF
, which was a short protocol, failed miserably. I was bleeding and lost all of my uterine lining and also had high progesterone throughout the stims phase.

weight issues
I hade my surgery in Oct 2022 but to go ahead with
IVF
I need to lose 7kgs. I would like to mention I have been going to the gym consistently but I have lost inches instead of weight. For example, I went from size 18 to 12 but my weight hasn’t changed.

How might DNA fragmentation affect treatment?
My partner (32M) and I (32F) have just had our funding approved for
IVF
. His morphology has been low on all tests, although came back borderline normal on the most recent one at 4%. Everything else has always come back normal for both of us.

What supplements did you use to get your miracle baby?
5
IVF
cycles, 4 transfers, 3 BFP but 2 MC and 1 gorgeous little girl. No more
IVF
cycles for us as we cant do it mentally or financially, but we arent giving up. Has anybody had success with any supplements to improve egg quality etc.

Sensitive post-clearblue weeks indicator
We had our rainbow baby in 2021 through
ivf
and were looking to transfer our last embryo in a few months. However I've fallen pregnant naturally and I'm now super paranoid I'm going to have another miscarriage.

What to do
Hello, I have had one failed round of
IVF
on the NHS and feeling deflated if its worth it to carry on. I have a low AMH for my age (33) and my husband has poor morphology below 1%. We have tried for two years and done life style changes and supplements.

Create Birmingham ivf process
Hi everyone, I’ve recently been referred for
ivf
after a total 2 year wait between NHS appointments and a year ttc before my first appointment… We’ve had all the NHS investigations and had no issues found, just been told it’s unexplained infertility.

Running out of time...advice welcome
I started
IVF
in summer 23 - with 2 x 5 day blastocysts - a fresh 4AB that resulted in a chemical pregnancy and a frozen 3BB that's obviously now failed. My clinic in NE Scotland is lovely but completely unproactive.
