what medication did you respond better on with pcos? Gonal f / menopur . Any others

hi all we start our ivf mid jan please see how i responded to gonal f 112.5 . I have pcos i was 25 at the time now i am 26 . I have a healthy bmi and no other issues .

we didnt have a great response to ivf the first time round we only obtained 2 viable eggs . One stuck but i lost her sadly at 22 weeks to fetal anomaly. (Just very bad luck) . Tried the second embryo 5 day 3bb didnt stick . Failed transfer , so now we go again. 3 were immature out of the 5 .

I spoke to the clinic and they said now that they saw how I responded the first time they will try make some changes.

This clinic is in italy where my husband resides and works. I was wondering can a small increase in dosage make a difference she mentioned in the email she sent back to me that they can consider changing the medication .

My question is did a small change in dosage actually make a huge difference to the amount of eggs you have obtained? I know i should be positive but i am grieving the loss of my baby and now scared it wont work after the failed transfer.

Have you tried a different medication than gonal f and had a better response? I an attaching my chart to show you my response to gonal f , can anyone help interpret it and give ne words of affirmation please!

Hi! I am very your first IVF round didn't work. I have PCOS too and was on Pergoveris 300iu/150 iu. That worked well for me, I got 18 mature eggs. I was also taking vitamins D, C and Zinc, as well as Inositol to help boost fertility. If you haven't already, I recommend reading 'It all starts with the egg', which has some helpful advice on supplements and lifestyle changes. Very best of luck with the next round!

I’ve got pcos and started ivf at 27 and tried pergoveris, gonal f and menopur and had the best results with menopur. The other two were okay for me but menopur seemed to work best. Because of the pcos I was always on a low-ish dose to avoid being over stimulated. Menopur I was on 125. Pergoveris I think I was on 200/225 and got verrrrry sick from that dose.

I’m not sure what the chart says and honestly I think it would be best explained by a fertility specialist - are the able to talk you through it?

I have PCOS and don’t have periods naturally.I had mild IVF and had Bemfola. The initial dose was 150 but they lowered me to 100 and introduced Letrozole as I was over stimulating and my oestrogen levels were scarily high. I ended up having 31 eggs collected and 25 were mature.
