endo on ovary

I have just had my baby girl via c section 10 weeks ago, during the section they found that endo was growing on my left ovary, this is new as my baby is IVF and I had my ovaries looked at before starting the ivf process to check them. I have been bleeding non stop since the section now and I’ve been referred back to Gynae.

Has anyone had endo on their ovary? Did you end up having to have it removed and did you end up loosing or keeping the ovary?

Congratulations, hope you’re both well otherwise.

Pity they didn’t remove the Endo at the time. I haven’t gone through all you’ve been through, just wanted to wish you well and hope you get a good Gynae to sort this for you. 🙂

congratulations! I hope you and your baby are doing well! I’ve had endo on both ovaries and have recently had laparoscopic surgery to remove the endo on them and I’ve kept both ovaries. As I understand it, it’s a very common place for endo to start growing. And it’s definitely possible to remove the endo without removing the ovaries, the earlier the better to preserve fertility x
