My wife is in
intensive
care
here in France. If she had to wait the three hours for an ambulance I had to wait last time one was called to our house in Wales, she would be in the morgue. When is the NHS going to be removed from direct government control?

MY SISTER’S SYAGE 4 NCLC - UPDATE
Hello group! My sister’s liver enzymes were very high and they stopped her targeted therapy for now. We have an appointment with the oncologist on Thursday and one with palliative care on Friday. Is this normal to have a drop in your enzymes? She’s 85 years old and I think her age is not helping

Latest blood report.
Hi all, I got my blood investigations done and report came yesterday. My Hba1c is 5.9 now!. From 16.4 in Jan'17 to 5.9 in jun'18 has been a long but interesting journey of trial and errors. I'm on LCHF diet and my total cholesterol also improved. Now it is 152. Food is the new medicine!😊

Week 9 and beyond cream crackered update
Been a while since i last posted folks so here's the score on the door .Well only one way to say it really , it has all gone very Pete Tong with my cancer treatment. The last course of chemo never touched the new tumour that has appeared on my liver . so all the treatment options we thought we would

Second line Caelyx and bowel obstruction
Hello ladies, can anyone help me, I had second line Caelyx three weeks ago and ended up over the weekend in hospital with a bowel obstruction, luckily it pushed through itself as I was told it was inoperable, still not sure if it's scarring or tumour as scans seemingly are black and grey and not that

Struggling with my recovery
I spent 9 days in
intensive
care
, another week on a ward and was then discharged. To nothing! No plan or any idea what or how my recovery would be. I then (as soon as i could walk to a friends car!)went to see my GP who thankfully was knowledgeable and understanding of my condition.

Update on my husband-Hankwhy(Mike)
I am Mike’s wife Kim. It was important to him that I update as well as give thanks. Mike is currently in the hospital. His hemoglobin got down to a 4.9 in a short period of time, doing better each day. After two rounds of Xofigo he had to stop. Side affects were brutal, never quite got back to himself

NEW Development For Lungs
Reasonable enough, we hope, that it may for the first time be possible to conduct a clinical trial in adults in
intensive
care
units who've been intubated and who might benefit substantially from surfactant replacement.
