Getting back to sport after ablation (and AF hopefully)
I’m 65, had my 1st AF 2 years ago mid triathlon 500 miles east of Moscow - Russian Cardio
Intensive
Care
was really quite good! I had cryo-ablation 3 weeks ago and no AF since so far. I’ve been walking only and want to do everything I can to optimise recovery and not getting AF again.

First rheumatologist appointment
First apt with rheumatologist. Really disappointed cos they are experts yet started with the you are too young thing. (51). Wants me to come off one pred tablet per week (5mg) so fast taper which will hurt so I can have a scan which is not masking anything by the pred. What she is scanning for I do not

Battle Lost To Alcohol
His kidneys shut down and he was rushed to

where he hung on for another couple of days. In the final conversation I had with him, his speech was slurred and difficult to make out but he promised never to drink again. It was heartbreaking.

Palliative care - medications and routine
While most of our forum is focused on treatment, I thought it would be helpful for others to post our palliative care routine. Our current treatment has made a huge difference and greatly improved quality of life. My dad declined very suddenly with PCa on July 17. He has a unique situation with daily

PET/PSMA scan results after 3rd LU-177. Should I go ahead with SBRT or complete 4th LU-177?
PSA Marker came down marginally from 0.227 to 0.202 . Results of PET/PSMA scan today compare with scan on May 2021: 1. The previously noted PSMA avid sclerotic bone metastases demonstrate interval resolution of PSMA uptake. The current scan shows multiple non-PSMA avid sclerotic bone lesions, which are
