Laparoscopy made everything 1000x times worse, anyone else?
I take a combination of: (depending on what's pains/issues are going on) tranexamic acid, mefenamic acid,
ibuprofen
, codine/ tramadol paracetamol, naproxen, Diclofenac sodium, Propranolol (for the anxiety) Omeprazole. Personally I find the naproxen and codine are usually best, for me.

In so much pain and feeling poorly
Can I take
Ibuprofen
with Prednisolone? 4. I should also mention that my spine is almost see-through at -3.9 at the last Dexa scan. Thanks for any help & experience you can offer and sorry for the long moan, but this morning I thought today might be the day for a visit from the Grim Reaper .

Missing bank holiday again
I hope you all are feeling much better than me today, but I’m feeling so frustrated that I’m again in bed on tramadol and
ibuprofen
with my hot water bottle and have had to miss out as usual as I can’t get out the house with my husband to go to a local event.

New to T3, advice please
Other symptoms I have are achy neck, achy lower back, achy calves, a general unwellness where I feel I have to take paracetamol or
ibuprofen
. I have a query diagnosis over chronic fatigue/long covid but I suspect my symptoms are low immune system related and inadequate dosing.

My Fibro specialist appointment - gut health
He is going to recommend my GP to refer me for TMS for anxiety and migraine (I had never heard of it before), acupuncture and nutrition advice and codeine and
ibuprofen
for pain relief as needed. He said NHS may or may not pay for some of these.

NSAID's (like Ibuprofen) with Apixaban
Ibuprofen
is not recommended because of the risk of intestinal bleeding, though I have taken it for short periods and it works really well. Are there any Anti Inflammatory drugs that you can take safely with Apixaban ? Advice appreciated. All the best Colin

Not sure if I am happy...
I take
ibuprofen
for costochondritis which also seems to help my neck but not my knees. So, should I think that only 3mg is not to bad or should I continue my tapering which has been 0.5mg reduction every 4 weeks for the last six months? I'm 80 yr old. Hamish, Edinburgh.

Pending Hysterectomy Advice
Currently managed by a combo of paracetamol,
ibuprofen
and mefanemic acid, as well as a mini Tens machine, but increasingly requiring cocodamol/stronger pain relief. This weekend just gone was the first time in a while I’ve remained horizontal on the sofa.

PMR - update on doctor call
But we agreed that a confounding factor for the PMR might have been the arthritis in my neck, which doesn't respond to the pred that well, but does respond pretty well to a couple of
ibuprofen
daily, so she wants me to use that as a top up while I am away, with a view to monitoring the situation and

Any tips for preventing elbow pain when running?
Rest, ice, heat,
ibuprofen
gel etc. It’s slowly getting better but I noticed that restarting C25K this week is aggravating it. Has anyone had a similar experience? Any tips? Many thanks everyone! 💪😊

Pain Relief and Sleep
My son broke his arm yesterday and we gave him
ibuprofen
before bed in hopes the pain would not keep him up. He didn't complain about any pain but complained that he couldn't fall asleep. He was up until midnight. I since read that
ibuprofen
can keep some people awake.

Pregabalin- Splitting the dose
I understand from my GP that I’m very close to the maximum dose that should be taken in one go, When I wake I take
Ibuprofen
which seems to help ( unless it just working as a placebo), but I know I shouldn’t take as much as I do and it’s not good as a long term solution Is it worth trying to take

hydroxychloroquine
Consultant had hoped the methotrexate on its own (just with
ibuprofen
/naproxen/paracetamol as needed) would be enough but it isn’t. I started 2x200mg daily hydroxychloroquine this week.

Suggestions for Achilles Tendonitis
The gp suggested the same as before for the calf muscle and he gave her an
ibuprofen
gel to use which doesnt seem to be doing much though it is early days. I just wondered if anyone had any other suggestions we could try as its really making her miserable and the wedding is next Friday.

Overactive thyroid and possibly Graves due to symptoms -not medically diagnosed.
Told me to finish my antibiotics and to take Propranolol 10mg /3times a day and
ibuprofen
400mg /3 times a day and to have another test in a week. That week I was a wreck, I was so bad my resting heart rate was over 100 bpm reaching 155 whilst lying in bed.
