Not fully diagnosed
Tried everything from endomatrial ablation to prostap injections and finally a
hysterectomy
. I only have my ovaries left. I've just recently been in hospital due to pain and unsure what was causing it.

Hysterectomy experience?
Hello All Wondering if anyone minds sharing any experience of having had a
hysterectomy
. I’m currently leaning towards this as a treatment option. I know of the difficulties in trying to get it done (I’m still in child bearing years - although just about) and only have one child.

Has anyone had a hysterectomy and oophorectomy due to PMDD after a thyroidectomy?, I really need to know how it went.
Hello, I am really tired of suffering for many years (I am 47 years old) of premenstrual dysphoric syndrome and I have noticed that it has worsened since I had my thyroidectomy, I am really desperate, I have no quality of life. My Gyno recommended surgery because I also have a cyst in each ovary. I

Alternative treatment
The doctor said my scars from my c sections are too bad to offer any surgical treatment, unless I went for a
hysterectomy
. They have suggested trying the coil and if that doesn't work then a
hysterectomy

Forticip drinks!!!!!
Hysterectomy
operation tomorrow. Did anyone else react badly to these nutritional drinks? My stomach is all over the place with cramping and a few visits to the loo. Also look pregnant because of the bloating. Burping too. On a clear fluid diet before operation so can’t be food.

First post - my story so far.
I thought it was all over for me, but three weeks later I had extensive surgery (4 operations in one, my surgeon said),
hysterectomy
, colostomy formation, another section of the bowel removed, appendix removed, diaphragm stripped and 'all visible cancer cells removed'.

Binder or no binder?
Did anyone use an abdominal binder after total
hysterectomy
surgery for support? If so, was it NHS approved? Any recommendations? Have operation in just over a weeks time.

Everything to do with endometriosis
I’ve been asking for help for 2 year now to conceive an all my gynaecologist kept offering me was contraceptive help ( I felt she was doing this to shut me up) she even offered me a
hysterectomy
I’m only 25 !! So I’ve always denied anything to do with it!

Bowel prep for hysterectomy
I was wondering if bowel prep was given to anyone before a
hysterectomy
as a necessity...I haven't been asked to do one nor given one... I don't want to turn up on the day and then have my surgery cancelled because of not doing one...

Spinal anaesthesia worry!
Having a total
hysterectomy
, bilateral oopherectomy and excision of endometrial adhesions and endometrial nodule on uterosacral ligament. I have Stage 4 Endo. Been for my pre- op assessment and was told by the nurse that they could be giving me spinal anaesthesia too possibly.

Feeling Alone
I was told, gently, on July 23rd, that the ovarian cancer has returned despite carbo and pacliltaxol and debulking surgery with total
hysterectomy
including my apendix and part of my liver. I wasn't in remission a year and the cancer is back, with friends.

Blood test results for my Mom. Please may I ask for help reviewing them given her suspected heart attack some weeks back. Thankyou.
The first time was ovarian - she was given a complete
hysterectomy
. The second was a short while later as it had returned to her lymph glands. At the time she had cutting edge (over 35 years ago) platinum-based chemo which was very tough, but it worked thank the Lord.
