Pain after hysterectomy

I had a hysterectomy on 6/4 this year where they found a chocolate cyst and Endometriosis, they scraped it away but left my ovaries. I was ok for 3 weeks after no pain or anything, since then I’ve had pain constantly in my left hand side which goes from dull to sharp and is now really painful and every few weeks get it in the right hand side as well and right across my stomach. I am suffering with terrible bloating as well and get pains in my girlie parts as well as lower back pain. I’m going for an internal scan on 13/10 to see what’s happening. Has anyone else had these issues or anything like it

Hi unfortunately unless they remove the ovaries, the endometriosis can still grow. The oestrogens produced by the ovaries, causes the endometriosis to grow and spread. Take care
