Next step is apparently hysterectomy?
He discharged me and said next stage would be
hysterectomy
when my pain becomes unbearable again. How long till that might happen I'm wondering. But depressing news but I guess to be expected?

Bowel or endometrioma pain?
I am down for surgery for
hysterectomy
as I have adenomyosis and endo extraction. I've opted out of a bowel resection as the waiting list is longer for 2 surgeons and to be honest I'm scared of the chances of a stoma and the long recovery.

Pelvic Pain and spotting 9+ years post hysterectomy
Hi my mum had a full
hysterectomy
following a diagnosis of Stage 1C clear cell OC. 6 months of Chemo followed this. Since treatment and op she has been suffering with what has been described as chronic pelvic pain ever since. She had been told she cannot go on HRT as her cancer was Clear Cell.

which way to turn?
I am post meno and on 75mcg Estrogen patch only as iv had a
hysterectomy
. He started me on utrogestan 100 in hope it would help conversion BUT 2 days in and my mood is ten times worse. I’m at breaking point. Could I possibly be on too much estrogen?

ivf and endometriosis: gender selection allowed?
Hi, I’m at the stage where I’m thinking about getting a
hysterectomy
because I just can’t take the pain anymore. The only thing stopping me is children.

Deep Infilrative Endometriosis - Recommended Hysterectomy. Age 35.
He has recommended excision and a
hysterectomy
keeping my ovaries. What is everyone's experience of this? I am currently in bed in agony from right under my ribs into my pelvis. Its debilitating and frustrating. I don't know what to do with it. Any advice on the
hysterectomy
would be helpful.

Colonoscopy
Unfortunately I have had I B S since a
hysterectomy
12 years ago . Just as a precaution I have needed colonoscopy on two separate occasions , one clear one had polys removed. I too had profonol ( excuse the spelling ). It was painless. I met with my consultant and he explained the procedure .

Surgery for fallopian tubes removal
Although six months ago another scN showed abscess near uterus and one doctor mentioned
hysterectomy
. The doctor I saw this morning seemed confused by that and said its only tubes that need removing.

bleeding 3 years after total hysterectomy
I had total
hysterectomy
in 2021 out my cervix and uterus taken out . The two ovaries were left because it was stuck to bladder and would cause more complications since bladder specialist wasn’t in the room .

I’ve had a
hysterectomy
, salpingoopherectomy, bowel shave and pelvic clearance in January ‘24 and my surgery is healing well but the pain in my specifically left hip area is still terrible. It gets worse as the day goes on and by night time I’m struggling to walk and absolutely exhausted by it.

helpful YouTube yoga channel
She has a whole series of gentle yoga specifically for post
hysterectomy
/post abdominal surgery recovery. I have found it helpful and it’s good that it’s very specific. Anyway just wanted to share. I’ll put one link here but she has lots from week 1-12 of recovery building up. hope it helps!

Ovaries or no Ovaries
Consultant has recommended an
hysterectomy
as I'm also having severe bleeding during my period and am very anaemic.
Hysterectomy
is also being recommended as my mother had breast cancer but I'm unsure if I want both my ovaries removed.

Vaginal Tablets Estradiol
Hi I've been on Tibolone since having full
hysterectomy
3 years ago, following severe and rapid growing endometriosis. I went through such an ordeal with multiple surgeries in the end and whilst I'm ok and pain free now, it's always in the back of my mind that the endo could come back.

Monthly endometriosis bleeding after hysterectomy
I had a
hysterectomy
(retaining ovaries and cervix) in June, but since August have had monthly bleeding. Pretty sure it's endometriosis, which I was only diagnosed with when the
hysterectomy
was undertaken. It was in my bowel and pouch of Douglas.

Consider the options?
Post total
hysterectomy
, etc., one cycle of carboplatin (couldn't tolerate paclitaxel) and now on Avastin i/v and Olaparib. CA 9, which is fantastic. Side effects are just destroying me. I am 80, the Olaparib goes through to mid June 2026 and the Avastin finishes at the end of this year.
