Dealing with endo after children in late thirties
I feel like that I'm too young to have a
hysterectomy
but don’t want to live in pain. Any advice gratefully received. Many thanks Emma

Rectovaginal endometriosis
I had a subtotal
hysterectomy
due to a fibroid 3 months ago, keeping my ovaries and cervix.I have just found out that during the surgery, that my surgeon found that I have rectovaginal endometriosis as my rectum is fused to the back of my cervix.

I had a full
Hysterectomy
and 6 Carbo/Taxol chemos. I do have some numbness and peripheral nerve pain from the chemo but No other treatment! I have been able to enjoy many things, seeing my grandchildren grow, look after my elderly mum etc. Each day is a blessing.

no cure
My next surgery will be a bowel resection, high chance of stoma and
hysterectomy
. However I’ve been warned this will not stop the disease from returning because there is NO CURE! Nor will it make my constant pain and extreme fatigue magically disappear. Thank you to whoever took the post down!

endo cysts and swollen fallopian tubes
they said in surgery pending how bad they may have to remove one of each (they are unsure until they do the lap) but my concern is that if they are bad, could I wake up to a full
hysterectomy
? And if so why? thank you I feel majorly stressed

Eventually l was called for a partial
hysterectomy
by that team and they found l had a 19 mil engorged lining which had been reported a year earlier as being 1.9 mil, thus putting me on the not at risk list.

Normal CA-125
I am going in for a total
hysterectomy
on the 25th They suspect a Granulosa Cell Tumour due the presence of a mass on my ovary and thickened womb lining However my CA-125 is in the ‘normal’ range, I am just curious if others received a DX with normal CA-125?

Both ovaries out or not?
So ive read my notes from my MDT meeting and noticed they want to take both my ovaries out when they do my
hysterectomy
and endo excision. One has a big endometrioma on it and as of last year the scan showed the other was healthy.

Hysterectomy in your 30's?
I would really love to hear from warriors who had a
hysterectomy
in your 30's please. Im 39 and terrified of the prospect. Particularly mental health, weight gain and not being able to have sex. Have you suffered these? Do you regret the decision?

Any success with only one Lap surgery for DIE?
I have adenomyosis too so I know I may need a
hysterectomy
at some point. I just wanted to know if there's anyone out there that just needed one surgery for DIE then lived happily ever after? I know its probably a silly question.

My laparoscopy is soon, and I’m wondering if they have a look - if it’s bad, what are the reasons they would suggest a full
hysterectomy
for? thanks

endometriosis on uterine artery.
Surgeon removed a lot of endo but was unable to remove it from my uterine artery due to the risk of
hysterectomy
and we would like to have another baby at some point before I go down this route. I was just wondering if anyone else has this?

Endocrinologist needed
I’ve had a
hysterectomy
, have hypothyroidism and also overweight. Really need to have an overhaul to check my bloods and hormone levels. GP says my thyroid is in range but I still have debilitating symptoms and really struggling to function everyday.
