Hormone concerns prior to ICSI
HiWe are due to start out first IVF/ICSI next month. I privately have been doing my own investigations as our GP and NHS is terrible in our area and I have been having symptoms of concern. We are referred for ICSI due to poor morphology but also I am 36 and AMH 6.25. So far I have found that on a day

I don’t believe it!!
I was all set for a speed run this morning; only 3 long runs away from HM. I don’t usually run on Fridays but my Thursday run had to be postponed because of a friend’s funeral. She was a lovely gracious human dynamo of a lady from church who won the Queen’s Award for volunteering. She didn’t run, but

1st full blown flare on Tocilizumab….😞
Yesterday at about 10am I started to get mild pain in my left foot, cuboid/metatarsal joint. It became more and more painful as the day progressed, till I was limping badly. I have been getting very minor flares for months, the roaming pain kind of thing where it hits a joint, hurts for a wee while

Steroid Injection
I have had right shoulder pain for weeks. The pain starts in my shoulder and then across my upper back. I have had it over the years but this time it’s been really bad. With all the problems trying to see a doctor I have just been taking co-codamol. In the end with the pain and not sleeping I managed

Flu jab
As flu vaccine season will soon be on us I was wondering if my husband will get a flu jab this year (I have asthma, therefore I qualify). In previous years he has been eligible but I believe the criteria has changed. Any thoughts?

Covid Injections reactivated RA
Having spent the past 11+ years with my RA in remission being managed by 17.5 Mtx and Hydroxychloroquine. The Constant Covid Jabs of the past 2years have reactivated my crazy immune system to a point where my medication has had to be changed. (Which has as yet failed to bring it back under control)

Fertility clincs abroad -Donor eggs
Hi All Looking into using doner eggs abroad, does anyone have any recommendations of any clincs they have used. I've researched a few in Prague, costs for icsi are very reasonable and its not to far from the UK and flights not to expensive. Any tips or recommendations welcome. Thanks in advance

Recurring Pneumonia from Breast Cancer radiation treatment
I was diagnosed with stage 0 breast cancer and went through two lumpectomies in April 2022, and 21 radiation treatments in May 2022, ending early June 2022. By the end of July 2022, I knew something was not right with my left lung with constant coughing, shortness of breath. In fall of 2022 I was diagnosed

I've got Covid - any suggestions on when I can do a Thyroid Function Test?
My Covid has been confirmed with a swab test. I've got a test kit for a standard finger-prick TFT (Thyroid Function Test) i.e. TSH + Free T4 + Free T3. I want to do it ASAP without Covid interfering too much with the results (or at all, if possible). When would be a good time to do it after recovery
