I used to take my now " 5 a day " Tabs not veg ! all at different times 1 before a meal 1 during 1 after 1 with water etc ....according to the information / instructions . Bit O C D ?Then I went to have a hip replacement and the doc/nurses gave them to me all at once each morning with water .

Seemingly with no ill effects !?

Now I take them the same way as in hospital and its wonderful not having to have all the faff !!!

Anyone else do the same ?

I have always taken all my meds around 5 pm each evening apart from regular pain meds as required. That includes anticoagulant, beta blocker and BP control. Hay fever I tend to take mornings if forecast suggests them.

Great Bob thanks. So do you think it's better at night than mornings ? I take a similar mix .

Evenings are always more stable times than mornings when anything can happen (and usually does) so less chance of forgetting even though I always use a 7 day pill box.

In the morning I take : Sotalol, Ramipril, Felodopine, CoQ10 and Finasteride. In the evening I take : Warfarin, Simvastatin and Sotalol (again).

When I was in hospital for knee replacement I maintained the same timetable and doseage.

Interesting idea !Thanks Ben .

No worries, BUT, this timetable and doses were exactly as prescribed by either my GP or Cardiac consultant. Over the years I have never varied them, nor have I had any reason to try to.

I take some when I wake up. And the others about 12 hours later. Give or take a few hours, depending on when I wake up. Been doing this for years, no ill effects that I’ve noticed.

No, for the simple reason that some interact with the other so I follow the times as stated but I leave an hour or two gap between the ones they don't seem to marry well and that has helped me greatly. The prescription itself should give you and indication of when to take them as does the enclosed fact sheet. I use a pill box so that I don't forget .....

I take some at night and others are prescribed twice a day, so I take them in the morning. I take them all at the same time.

I found that taking them all at the same time caused some GI irritation so I stagger them through the day.I take ramipril and my first apixaban around 8am, it is recommended that the ramipril is taken in the morning. I take a magnesium supplement at lunchtime and atorvastatin, allopurinol with bisoprolol around 7pm, just before dinner. The final apixaban I take around 8pm.

Since doing this, I've had no GI problems but it's a case of whatever works for you.

I take my levothyroxine first thing and the rest of my meds and hour or so after I've had a cuppa and my two ginger biscuits, the resti take late evening approx 12 hours later Not had any issues and as previously the hospital don't spread them out.

That's the one that annoys me. Wake up dying for a brew and no caffien until 30minutes after taking it.

I usually get up to the loo about 6am so I take it then. My cuppa is my heart starter 🤣🤣

I take all mine when I go to bed as that means I have no chance of missing a dose. I do take a multivitamin, my second Apixaban and hay fever tablet with my breakfast. I recently flew to New Zealand and asked GP and Pharmacist for advice as to how to take my tablets over such a long flight with multiple time zones and both said no one had ever asked that question!

I take all mine at once after breakfast, usually around 8.30.

I am on Dapagliflozin (amongst other things) which is 2x daily so I have the other one in the evening usually around 9 pm. Seems to work as I have recently been discharged by the Cardiac team following some dosage changes to the Nebivolol I take as they say everything seems to be working OK!

Yes me! I take mine together. The only exception is the PPI esomaprazole (when I need it) and I always take this about half an hour before food

yes all together, otherwise I’d be forgetting some

I take all my prescribed pills together in the morning and my prescribed pravaststin and spixaban during the evening together.

When I queried with pharmacist that I couldn't take flec on an empty stomach and 12 hours apart so was sticking to 12 hours apart, hesaid "are they working, any problems" "yes and no". "That's fine then".

I take 30 tablets a day including pain relief, I wouldn't want to take them all in one go 😁😉

30 a day all at once would be a meal in its self !!

Yes good to spread that amount .

Good luck to you .

Yes, all morning ones at once, all evening ones at once.

Having just had three new pills added to the cocktail I already take I like to space them out. Have a 7 day pillbox to help with this and as I like to leave at least 2 hours between doses an alarm to remind me. OCD or what? I find that what I take when seems to suit me and I don't have any stomach problems.

Found out from this forum that one of my tablets is best taken after a proper meal that contain a good size portion of fat to aid it's absorption so I switched to taking my tablets after dinner in the evening as I seldom have a fatty breakfast. 😉

I've tried different combinations after reading what interacts and also from my experience of side effects plus gastric issues. My preferred regime as it works really well for me is:-

8.30am Losartan x 100 mg Plus 2.5 mgs Indapamide.

9.am Bisoprolol 3.75 mgs and Vitamin D

10am Eliquis (apixaban) 5mgs

10pm Eliquis 5 mgs plus 1.25mgs Bisoprolol. (to give me a top up for early mornings as this was when my AF was most likely to strike.)

I take all of my pills at the same time morning and again at night if I didn’t do it that way I would never be taking them all the way I should. I’m just not good at taking pills as told I either oversleep or just forget. My cousin uses his alarm on his phone, even in the middle of the night, I’m just not that good at it. The one specific medication I am told not to go off track at the time that I take. It is my anticoagulant I was told not to waiver more than an hour or two from the time that I take it daily , I don’t know why that is but I’m trying
