Black Country half-marathon
As I blogged yesterday, today was the BIG day that I ran my first half-marathon - even more exciting because I have twice before starting training for a half-marathon and both times had to pull out due to injury. Yesterday morning I woke up with horribly painful back-ache and spent the morning shuffling

Spasms of horrible pain - somewhere in right arm but can't quite locate?
Woke last night with a sore shoulder - everything on the right side these days. Thought it was RSI from stitching all day with a huge embroidery hoop - or that I'd slept in a bad angle. All day the shoulder has been twinging but nothing like flares in the first year so I've ignored it. Now it's all down

Worst day off my life.
Both acquired
head
/brain
injuries
. MY daughter 9 suffered a fractured skull, and has left her struggling back at school, and my son now 11, is still waiting to have 2 large areas of his skull replaced. Both children air lifted to hospital, and lay side by side in intensive care.

Half Way There!...... and feeling good :)
So, I’m half way there! Tonight I will tackle run 1 of week 5! I can honestly say that I never thought I would make it this far, and even more so to be enjoying the sense of freedom and ‘me time’ and running so much. Ok, it’s a snails pace at the moment and I see real runners running much faster but
