Going round in circles
I have another appointment at my GP today (having seen them at least once a week for the past 2 months) to try and sort my pain levels out. I suffer with chronic back, hip and joint pain - no official diagnosis as of yet but GP is worried about the instability of my hip joint. It clunks out of place

Period?
Hey! It's been a while since I posted..I was 4 weeks post lap on Tuesday just gone and am yet to have a period! I was told by my consultant to expect at least 3 periods as it would take a while for my body to get used to the coil..So I've stocked up and everything i would need and nothing! Still getting

Second consultant meeting this week - for cirrhosis....
Morning all, So despite being two months after the target date, my second post-hospital consultation is on Thursday and I’m getting into a flap (in a fear of stage fright way) about having everything I need on my list - most of us know how precious these appointments are and I really, really don’t want

On the Bench again!!
I last ran on Friday morning, lovely easy run , feeling great!! Got up early sat morning and thought as it was a lovely morning I would go and buy a couple of big pots for my new dwarf fruit trees. Brought them home and then instead of waiting for my son to come round I went ahead and dragged 2 big

Sodium oxybate, thyroid hormone and sleep
Sodium oxybate (which is the sodium salt of gamma-hydroxybutyric acid) is used as a last resort medicine for sleep problems - under expert guidance only. I have just come across a personal report about the interaction between sodium oxybate and levothyroxine. If anyone is interested, I'll post more

Injured and frustrated
Did my graduation run on Monday Tuesday morning woke up with sore glute on left side and (after a bit of googling) seems I had injured my abductor muscles on left side. Have rested and applied plenty of deep heat yet the muscles are still tight and restricting my movement. Not painful as such any more

Need to slow down a bit!
I know I'm risking
injuries
but there's a little voice in my
head
telling me to run as fast as I can and try as I might it's impossible to ignore it. Why do I do it? I actually ran 5k in 25mins 13 secs. Don't get me wrong I really enjoyed it but I know it makes more sense to run slower.

When is it safe to run again?
As posted on Monday, I had to abort my latest run due to nasty pain in my calf. That afternoon my left calf was sore to touch but that evening I massaged it and applied deep heat. I did the same yesterday and it feels almost back to normal now. Last Saturday was my longest run (30 mins) where I covered

Hi, thanks to everyone who reads this post. Im a 36 year old female who was a very heavy drinker in my 20s until I met my husband. When I say heavy I mean the equivalent to 2 bottles of wine per night- every night. I was drinking alcoholically but because I never drank alone or didn't drink during the

ADHD Weekly -- Wear Your Helmet! ADHD Raises Risk of Head Injury
Research points toward
head
injuries
being related to ADHD symptoms in some young people. Read "Wear Your Helmet! ADHD Raises Risk of Head Injury" at http://bit.ly/nrcheadinjury . What suggestions do you have to decrease the risk of head injury for children affected by ADHD?

Intermittent fainting episodes
I have had 3 episodes in the past year, the last one resulted in me hitting my
head
and knocking myself out for 90 minutes and having
injuries
requiring many stitches. Each episode was at a different time of day in different circumstances .

Back to wheels....😡😢🚴🏻♀️🤞🏻🏃🏼♀️💪🏻
I suppose you could say I have finally listened to my left achilles, which was shouting SO loud I had to abort a run for the first time last week and hobble home. Lots of ice-ing, elevating, deep heat, painful massage and rest (grrrr!) and trying not to panic about a 10k in three weeks and a HM in 7(

Post-graduation Knee injury!
So after exactly 3 weeks of post grad consolidation of 3x5k runs i thought I'd push a little bit further and go for 6k. I'd been hydrating well. eating and sleeping properly and being in hols was well rested. This also meant being away from the safety of my treadmill, but being a big boy graduate I

Has anybody fond Formoterol Oxis etc to be better with less reflux or indigestion?
I'm trying to find a reliever that is less of a problem for reflux and wondered how if anyone has has found formoterol to be better? I have tried the combination Seretide, Ventolin and Serevent and they all give me really bad reflux. I'm on a PPI etc but it only makes it just about bearable.

Hello, Firstly, let me give a sincere, heartfelt "Thank you" to all of you who sent me a private message, or put a comment on one of my posts, asking if I was "okay." What a lovely, caring gesture... thank you! Apparently the isolation and boredom had finally gotten to me... I started believing
