Good Morning all!!
Hi Everyone, I’m new to the forum but glad to have come across something to get support/advice as I am really starting to forget what a full nights sleep is like! I was diagnosed with Endo last year after an emergency laparoscopy i was taken in with sudden intense pain to the point I could not move out

Scared that I have epilepsy
No one in my family has had epilepsy and I haven't had any
head
injuries
or cancers. I just get really scared that I have it. My eyes aren't that great and I have glasses. But can someone just give me a little peace of mind of what could be happening? Could it be my anxiety?

Tanycytes control the hormonal output of the hypothalamic-pituitary-thyroid axis
On this forum, as in much of the world of thyroid, we discuss thyroid hormones, the thyroid, the pituitary, iron, vitamins, and goodness knows what else. We almost never mention the hypothalamus. That is why I am posting this abstract. Not that I more than slightly understand it! But we should never

Raise awareness
I took part in a recorded interview yesterday at Hull university as it was part of a womans studies to try and raise awareness of
head
injuries
. It seems society is still learning about BI but still needs to learn more.

The result of 'the bad idea' ...
I checked he was alive, hadn't broken anything or bashed his
head
, checked his not insignificant
injuries
, retrieved his lost shoe that had been yanked off in the tussle with her front wheels and helped him call for assistance from his mate as luckily he lived a few hundred metres away ...

After having to take a week off due to knee killing me, I am back on the trail and loving it again. Took lots of precautions this time, deep heat gel, knee support, massage stick to help with warmup. (Doctor gave me the all clear to go) .The run was good felt my knee complain a little but was fine. Returned

a question to those on Armour and doing well on it
So, I have an appointment with my hormone doctor in Belgium next week and I am going to get my prescriptions for NDT (Armour and Erfa) renewed, as I always do. I have been on Thyroid-S for the past couple of years, but have not told doc that. The reason I decided to go down that road was because there

Betaine HCL with Pepsin and breastfeeding
Hi everyone, I've been having issues with digestion for years and after reading about it I think I might have low stomach acid. I have Hashimoto's and I have a lot of digestion/gut issues, so I think my gut isn't too well. I thought about getting a good Betaine HCL + Pepsin supplement, but I'm breastfeeding

Really struggling with pain around my ankle. Might be tendinitis. Really sore and couldn't do my run last night. Gutted is an under statement! I'm 5.3 and just under 9 stone. Haven't trained in years and was doing so well! Am so motivated but this has set me back. I've used mustard powder. Ice, deep

What causes FND?
My neurologist said it is most likely due to too many
head
injuries
and very traumatic events. She said due to this my brain rewired it's self to manifest pain and emotions physically rather than psychologically. I'm not really sure I buy this though? Hard pill to swallow.

So one of the most bizarre things about
head
injuries
seems to be our ability to randomly do stupid things and it is always when we think things are "normal" This morning I was cooking some rice and used a cloth to lift the lid to check progress.

Are parabens in ThyroidS safe?
I've recently increased my ThyroidS because latest TSH results were 28.5. So I'm increasing from 1 to 2. However, I noticed fillers used in ThyroidS contain Methyl paraben and Propyl paraben https://stopthethyroidmadness.com/armour-vs-other-brands/ A recent study found that hypothyroid patients should
