Does the pill have the same effect as the injection?
I am from Argentina. My son has been struggling with depression and anxiety for years. 2 years ago we found out he had high homocysteine, low B12 and he has MTHFR. He is being treated with B12 pills (Jarrow) his values have improved but his symptoms persist. I saw your information in PERNICIOUS

Wake up very cold around 230 to 330 am . Any suggestions?
Wake up very cold and was wondering if any supplements might help this. Taking iron pills and b12 injections currently.

Iron Infusion Attempt
This week I saw Dr Robin Fackrell privately at Bath Sulis Hospital to discuss whether an iron infusion would be an appropriate way forward for me and if so how I could progress this. The outcome of the session is that Dr Fackrell will write back to my GP recommending this course of action for my RLS

my ferritin has just come back as 28 (5-204) I think this is my iron store so it’s clearly deficient. I’ve struggled with anaemia since I was about 18 (maybe before but no cause before then for a blood test it was discovered when I became a donor) No one has ever given me a reason for this! And I

B12 problems?
I don't know what your symptoms are but I was vitamin b12 deficient with a similar reading and I had the symptoms of tingling and wierd dizziness among others. Despite this I was told it was fine as within normal limits. It is a large range and stands to reason that that reading can be low for some

Besremi working well- 150 mcg every month instead of bi-weekly
So, my WBC, RBC, HCT, and hemoglobin went down below the range for a couple of months. Instead of lowering the dose, the haematologist advised me to keep the 150 mcg dose but inject it every month instead of bi-weekly. My latest CBC and CMP show that all blood counts/parameters except hemoglobin were

⁸Low Haemoglobin
My latest blood test showed low haemoglobin so my GP ordered a whole raft of additional tests to check B12, thyroid, etc as well as a stool test to check for internal bleeding. Stool test negative. Other test results outstanding. Could end up having the up AND down camera tests! Been reading all I can

(Report says Satisfactory

High Eosinophils
I'd be interested to hear if others that have been diagnosed with autoimmune gastritis/PA and/or Hashimoto's Thyroiditis have consistently higher than normal Eosinophils in their blood test results. Just curious. Rexz

SC in Australia
Hi everyone,I've got a packet of B12 (I'm in Australia and it's the Neo brand) and I'm thinking of injecting it SC. The problem is it says 'for IM use only'. It's hydroxocobalamin chloride 1mg in 1mL and the other ingredients are sodium chloride, water and acetic acid. Does anyone know if this sort

Hi I recently had bloods done at GP which one of them was b12. It came back as no action required but I told GP that I think it still to low at 211.. range (180-800) she said about doing another test that might effect the absorbtion of b12 intrinsic factor antibody. My result was 3.66. was prescribed

Buprenorphine and stomach pain
Over the past 2 mths I have developed severe stomach and bowel pain. I suspect I may be suffering from opioid induced bowel dysfunction?? Other more serious causes have been ruled out. Also have poor appetite. It has taken me 25years to find something that relieves my RLS, am terrified now regarding

Why don’t I notice an increase in energy? Have had three b12 injections.
Have very low b12 and iron. Had three injections of b12 and still don’t feel any better? Schedule is for 5 more shots then recheck levels. Taking iron supplements for 5 weeks now also. Thanks

Correct me if I am wrong. Please
There are four forms of cobalamin commercially available for injection. Cynocabalamin which in tests of a non cobalamin deficient human has been tested for retention times. There is no comparative testing of the efficacy of Cynocabalamin versus other forms including no test of the effect on symptoms
