Pcos trying to find someone like me?

My cycles are between 35/42 days

I have never missed a period

And I had a blood test confirming I ovulate

Where do I go from here? Can I get pregnant naturally?

What treatment can I have as clomid and metformin are to start ovulation but my clinic said I don’t need these as I ovulate? I just don’t understand why I haven’t got pregnant in two years?

Have you talked to your doctor about the situation? When was your last appointment?

Hi! I have Pcos and I have regular periods each month. Some of my blood tests showed I ovulate and some I don’t, that is because I don’t ovulate every month and this makes it harder to get pregnant. I got pregnant a year ago after few months of trying but unfortunately I had a miscarriage. I’m now going to a fertility clinic and they said they will put me on Clomid. Do you do ovulation tests at home so you can monitor if you really ovulate every month? Did your husband have any tests done?

You can monitor/chart your cycles using a Fertility Awareness Method (FAM) to see whether you are ovulating each month, and when. One way of doing this is the symptothermal method where you monitor basal body temperature each morning and cervical mucas. The book Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler is the bible of all of this, I would highly recommend. There is also a great Facebook group if you are on there called Fertility Awareness Method of Birth Control. Don't be put off by the name - the method can be used to achieve or avoid pregnancy. I am not trying to conceive but use a symptothermal method (Sensiplan) to help to avoid pregnancy. The newfound knowledge of my body and cycles is, truly, quite life changing!
