Advice on interpreting blood tests when on liothyronine, & getting dosage right /adjusting it as you age!!?
Diet
is
gluten
free
, as close as I can be to lectin free, ( Eg no rice grains or beans , I eat sweet potato, sometimes regular potatoes which do contain lectins but I slip.. ) I'm vegetarian, but no eggs as I'm allergic.

Should I switch to NDT from levo?
TPO: 195 (<34) I've always kept active, my weight is healthy, I'm on a very healthy
gluten
/dairy/sugar/junk food
free
diet
, eat healthy carbs, don't restrict calories, meditate, do deep breathing, sleep well, manage stress, do daily walks and move, seem to be doing all the right things.

Spices?
I find that following a
gluten
free
diet
is very difficult because I have always had a love for spicy foods, but to make up for not going out to eat, or buying takeaways, we always cook our meat, fish, and vegetables with plenty of spices added.

Keto/low carb for Hashimoto’s Hypothyroid
So I’ve been seeing conflicting info online about whether low carb is the right way to lose weight when hypo. Some websites are saying keto causes too much acidity leading to increased inflammation (which we already have too much of) and too little insulin impairs the body’s ability to convert T4 to

Another Medichecks set of results for your expertise please as my brain fog can't make sense of them.
My TSH results through my GP swing from 0.03 mu/L to 8 mu/L over the years and back. In November 21 result was 0.0 mu/L and I was on 150/125 Levothyroxine alternate days. GP decided I should reduce dosage and put me down to 125 mg and retested in January when it came back as 0.1 mu/L so reduced me again

Low Carb on Prednisone for weight loss
Hi all, I hope this isn't a daft question. I've put on just over 1st while taking prednisone, luckily I'm now down to 3mg and doing OK. I understand the best way to lose the weight is by cutting my carb intake. Obviously, starting with processed cakes, biscuits, chocolate etc. But where I'm getting

My updated Thyroid Test Results
I am
gluten
free
. I did the low fat
diet
( due to my partners health issues and to also hopefully bring my ferritin levels down), seems not to have worked. I don't take iron suppliments and try and minimise leafy greens and that seems to have helped bring my ferritin levels down.

Low Carb really works for me
May 3 rd this year was my moment of truth when I knew I had to do something about two years of pred use weight gain. After two weeks of thinking I was low carb, the scale had not changed! Discouraged I sought the forum’s help and was alerted to the existence of carbs in many hidden places. It is true

Why do I have heart palpitations with these thyroid results?
My nutrition is great,
gluten
/dairy
free
, high antioxidant, been on the same
diet
for a long time, weight is healthy, know about ideal ranges and strive towards them. I meditate, taking calming teas, etc etc etc - doing all the right things.

Headache since starting Armour - should I stop taking it?
I have started taking 1 grain of Armour ndt after being on 100 mcg of Levothyroxine. Since starting 10 days ago I have had a headache every day. I have taken Armour before with no headaches that I can remember but changed to Naturethroid when Armour became too expensive. When that was found to be sub-potent

Good news - I am done with PMR!
I want to share some good news... finally my PMR has left me after more than 6 years (December 2016 it began). I had been tapering for the last 6 months but never managed to get below 1mg and still had flares needing to take up to 5mg. I had been very stressed being in an unhappy and emotionally abusive

Full Cream Milk
Oh I love it! I have decided and ordered a tin of it to add to my low fat diet in which I have recently lost 2 lbs. My decision is not based on emotions. In fact one of our Holy Imams (a.s) advised a man to drink 'milk' for weakness which I am experiencing while dieting and exercising and once in a week

What next - pre diabetes!!!???
Any advice? I’m 71 9st 12 lbs, exercise every day and can run 5k and now have been told I have pre diabetes!!! My diet is pretty good low carb generally not much bread or root veg, and no cakes or sweet stuff, alcohol-14 -16 units a week. So what next I ask? You can consider the above a bit rhetorical

Please can you interpret my latest blood test
Diet
– not on
gluten
free
, or dairy free, don’t eat meat, do eat fish, pulses, grains, veg, fruit. Use Oat Milk, because I like it and its more sustainable. Make my own bread but not gluten free flour. Make my own meals, no ready meals. The blood test was taken at 8.30 am .

Has anyone cracked the code? How to loose weight??
Still trying to get things under control.. But how DO we loose weight as Hypothyroid? - Should we stay away from certain types of exercise? (Cardio, weights, HIIT, walking, etc?) - Many said Keto may not be great… is low carb ok? On Keto I would stay within 30-40g of carbs a day which is more low carb
