No embryos on first cycle - struggling to come to terms
My first IVF cycle 2 weeks ago resulted in only 3 eggs, despite having AMH of 14 and having max dosage of both Gonal F and Menopur. They decided on day to do icsi. Only 1 egg was mature, failed to fertilise. The other two matured over night and only 1 fertilised. The clinic doesn't transfer/freeze unless

B-6, Methyl Folate and B-12
I know it's been written before, yet I'm still confused. Vitamin B-6 has to be taken a few hours after Levodopa, RIGHT? Even though he is on Levodopa/Carbidopa, I still hold to that "rule". Methyl Folate, B-9, is it safe or no? Vitamin B-12, I have heard a negative about it. He takes this daily at 1

I had an ablation in October 2016 which was successful until I had a mastectomy in January 2018 when I went into AF. Since then I have had a few episodes of AF which seem to be getting more frequent and lasting longer. I have recently seen a couple of Consultants privately and both are suggesting

Still fighting mouthsores
After one year on Imbruvica, I’m still battling mouthsores. I take Selunium and Folic Acid (both dr recommend), use a salt water rinse, have tried a couple strong antibiotics including Diflucan. Have also tried oil of oregano without success and this week was prescribed Gelclair. No relief. They last

Sympathetic nerve block or burning nerves?
Hi Guys, Just had a sympathetic lumbar nerve block and it has really helped with my pain, and the next step would be a series of nerve blocks or where they burn the nerves. Which one gives longer pain relief and is nerve burning a safe process? Thanks,

Drugs giving the same side affects as pregnancy?
Hi all, just on my TWW, did anyone find that taking Gonal-f, certrotide or even the Gonasi trigger shot give the side affects of being pregnant, as in sore breasts mainly? I’m 6 days past a 5 day transfer! Patiently trying to wait and not test early Thanks in advance

Okay so AF has fully arrived and i cried obvs. But now i'm thinking in a nat. Cycle id have a full 2 weeks from conception until af (sometimes longer). As this bleeding started only 5 days after 5 day grade B blast transfer even if there was a chance for implantation it didnt have time to send out enough

First stim scan... mixed feelings
So yesterday I had my first stim scan to make sure everything was going well. Follicles are growing so that was a massive relief... then the nurse said to me your right ovary is more busy than your left... (Just rewinding a bit here for contexts sake... every time I've seen a consultant or a nurse they've

Update
Thanks to everyone who sent me their supportive & helpful replies after my recent failed cycle. So on Thursday at the meeting with our consultant I asked her to explain her reasoning behind prescribing Menopur. She said it has LH as well as FSH to concentrate on quality of eggs rather than quantity

Internal hemorroids
Can I ask a question? I was constipated months ago and following a painful BM thought I tore (fissure). Each time I would go, it felt like razors at the end with at times bright blood. Went to GI, she looked and said it was Grade 1 piles. Gave me proctosol 2.5 cream. I have been using for 2 months which

Can RLS be a separate condition? I have it as part of fibromyalgia/ME
Can RLS be a separate condition? The way it's portrayed in the Channel 5 documentaries makes it look like it's a condition on its own. I didn't know it could exist as a separate condition. I have RLS as a symptom of fibromyalgia/ME. For me, it feels like someone has attached electrodes to my hips and

Bad news 😕
Whilst in the middle of my pre- transfer accupuncture session this morning I got the dreaded phone call. The embryologist explained our one and only embryo has not divided as it should and is showing signs of fragmentation therefore my transfer today has been cancelled. Of course I am distraught,
