Chest infection and Pred
I had covid with a bad dry cough and heavy cold at the end of November and made a good recovery. Didn't effect my pmr. On 3mg. On 28th December, probably due to doing far too much over Christmas, I started a chest infection from hell. Heavy chesty phlemy cough but bringing up clear sputum

Mortons Neuroma
Hi All I'm having a guided by ultrasound steroid injection for neuroma in my foot. Really not looking forward to this but hopefully it will help. Can I just ask what footwear I should wear to the procedure and how well will I be able to walk afterwards? I've been told I can't drive for 6 hours

Covid Injections reactivated RA
Having spent the past 11+ years with my RA in remission being managed by 17.5 Mtx and Hydroxychloroquine. The Constant Covid Jabs of the past 2years have reactivated my crazy immune system to a point where my medication has had to be changed. (Which has as yet failed to bring it back under control)

I've got Covid - any suggestions on when I can do a Thyroid Function Test?
My Covid has been confirmed with a swab test. I've got a test kit for a standard finger-prick TFT (Thyroid Function Test) i.e. TSH + Free T4 + Free T3. I want to do it ASAP without Covid interfering too much with the results (or at all, if possible). When would be a good time to do it after recovery

Issue when reverting back to NSR
Hello everyone I had tachycardia / SVT from teenage years. Earliest episodes awful as little info available (groups like this were unimaginable then!). Over the years I had an on / off battle with "an irregular heartbeat" and I think most drugs were tried. But it seemed to become less of a problem as

Covid Immersion
Not specifically MPN related, but evidence my immune system is still intact. My bucket list post-trauma was to visit my parents at their retirement home. Success, but perfectly timed to their 1st Covid infection. I spent an afternoon in a small poorly ventilated room close and personal. According

Covid finally got me
I've managed to avoid covid for 3 years, I think due to being extremely careful and having 6 vaccines. Hubby and I have only had some 2 or 3 day breaks to Dumfries, North Yorks, Morpeth and Durham since November 2021.He was away down to mid Wales at a fishing competition last week and came home on Friday
