Two rounds. 7 eggs. ONE EARLY BLASTOCYST. failed fresh transfer. Should we DNA fragmentation test before moving to the next stage?
Hey Everyone! I wonder if it is a good idea to get a DNA fragmentation and oxidisation test done on husbands sperm. I don’t know the recent figures off hand but they were pretty bad - we were having ICSI. The embryologist seems to think the sperm looked ok….and blamed the eggs...but Im so not convinced

Missed miscarriage after IVF (ICSI)
Hi everyone, this is my first time posting on here. I don’t really have a question, just thought it might help me to share my most recent fertility heartbreak with this community. We found out about a year ago that it would not be possible for my husband and I to conceive naturally due to male factor

Methotrexate for the summer
Hi lovely friends, Some of you will recall back in February that I had a flare with rash that my Rheumy, Dr A, didn’t recognise as a Lupus rash. He is still adamant it wasn’t Lupus then but that the progression, which 2 weeks later was confirmed by the Dermatologist as a Lupus rash, was! 🤷🏼♀️

I have had 1 failed cycle of ICSI. Since then I have had lots of tests to do everything possible for next round. 1 test that wasn’t done in clinic and has flagged up seperately is that my thryroid is 4.05. After doing research i believe under 2.5 is the magic number for pregnancy. As a result of this

Methylene Blue
Has anyone used or considered Methylene Blue in very low dosages for their Parkinson's? Franciso Gonzalez-Lima of the University of Texas, Austin is an expert on its advantages for treating neurological diseases. Mercola did an interview with him on the subject. Mercola does not promote synthetic drugs

Create IVF/ICSI - One mild IVF cycle Vs Three Cycle embryo banking. Pros and Cons?
Hi Everyone I hope you are ok, I have spoken with Create fertility one cycle is £6265 and a three cycle is about £18k - (so saving 795) To me that price is eye wateringly expensive? Question: Is the benefit of doing the three cycle just time? I am concerned that my embryo/blastocyst rate is poor

Bronchiectasis and long covid
Hi, I’m about 3 months into my bronchiectasis journey since my diagnosis earlier this year. My 3 month azithromycin trial went well and is now on my repeat prescription list (with it feels like a million other things ) I went for assessment for pulmonary rehab and the physio decided I’m too affected

Doctors with Long Covid
Just saw the news item this morning about doctors suffering Long Covid. When COVID happened I must say I thought ‘they’ (doctors) must be prepared for anything due to their choice of job. (Perhaps a little uncharitably due to my anger about my own situation at the time). They are presumably exposed

Success stories - what made all the difference?
hello! I’m currently in the middle of my 2nd fresh ICSI cycle (pre-egg collection) and in need of some positivity and inspiration. I’m hoping this will also help others feeling a bit defeated too. If you have had success with IVF/ICSI, please could you share any tips? What do you think made all the

Hi there, I'm 38 year old active, fit woman. I've been diagnosed with severe cervical stenosis at c6-7 with radiculopathy. Have had symptoms for 20+ years not realising what it was. Then last summer after having an appendectomy and 3 weeks rest, the pain behind left shoulder blade and in neck flared

hi everyone, BFN today following a frozen transfer (it was a day 6, good quality embryo - not sure of the exact grading). I was told the embryo thawed perfectly and was hatching before transferred. Battling Outbreaks
Hi everyone, I suffer from outbreaks every once in awhile especially if I get sick. I only take valtrex as needed for the 3 days to suppress . Am currently in an asthma flare and already dealing with an outbreak and I need to take prednisone which usually gives me an outbreak. Not sure weather I should

positive round of icsi
so after testing positive since 4dp5dt, called my fertility team and they have me booked in for a 7 week scan the first week of March. So would be roughly 5wks5days pregnant at the minute but can’t help but notice the absence of any signs/symptoms of pregnancy. Other than sensitive boobs which could
