How can I cope up with this? I hate myself.. that's dangerous.. I know.
I think I have GAD. I don't really know because I have not been diagnosed yet. But everything adds up. Many sleepless nights, extreme worry. Yesterday I thought I'm gonna die until I shouted for no apparent reason. I really hate myself. Bad times and good times I feel I'm all alone. And all these is

2 1/2 year wait for psychotherapy.
Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum and would like to know what other people's experience of being on a waiting list to receive psychotherapy in the UK. I was diagnosed with chronic clinical depression back in 1990 and we are now 30 years down the line and I've been on waiting lists before for counselling

Very sensitive post!
Hello lovely ladies, I’ve deliberately not posted and have actually been very quiet on here for a good reason! I’m still not sure whether people will find this helpful/ encouraging or not but I’m hoping the positive will outweigh anything else. I know it’s been such a tough tough time for everyone with

Anxious Therapist
Hi I am a retired Counselling Psychologist living in Philadelphia, previously from the UK. I have found this forum very kind and full of useful advice from people who have the most knowledge. They are the people who are experiencing the world now and who are trying to get through their life gently.

Therapy
Yesterday I made a huge step. After 7 years - I have finally decided to go to counseling. I made an appointment to see somebody on the 23rd and I am having so many emotions about it. Part of me is excited - but another part of me is feeling terrified. Anybody else who has had therapy in the past felt

I fear that God is telling me that I’m dying.
Hello, I’m 16 years old. I’ve been struggling with this thing of thinking I’m seeing signs from god that I’m dying soon. Such as YouTube videos, video games I play, all sorts of things. I’ve had health anxiety for as long as I can remember but was diagnosed while I was in 7th grade (2016). My head will

Thinking of trialling T3 (and just need support in general, any success stories?)
Hi, Hoping to gain some advice on trialling T3. I'm looking to re-test in a couple of weeks after dropping down to 100mcg Levo, to see if my T3 has increased (100/125mcg increased my T4 but not my T3). However I still feel hypo after 4 weeks on 100mcg, so I'm not too hopeful. My full previous test results

Holding the Reigns Back
Hi Everyone-usually, I post positive posts or pics, but today I’m not feeling that way and I want to share my true feelings. For the last 6 months daily, I feel like a 95 year old lady moving around. Can anyone relate? I am more stiff, and in more pain. This is besides eating healthy, exercising, stretching

Losing virginity with an Escort
Social anxiety disorder and crippling shyness has resulted in me never having had a relationship. As I turned 50 I got increasingly depressed about being a virgin and began to believe that I would now never have a relationship, because I am too old and there are very few single women of my age. I had

What now?
So this week, the Counselling sessions I've been receiving for my PTSD have come to an end. Not because I'm cured of my fear of the road, but because my Counsellor is moving onto better pastures (which I am happy about, she's an excellent Counsellor and is moving on to brighter things), also as the Pandemic

I liked helping people but struggled to get to work and do my work every day. I took voluntary redunancy because I feel
