Insecurities/depression
I’ve battled with depression for as long as I can remember. I’ve tried therapy, counseling, and medication but none of that seems to work. My depression has taken most of my teenage years and it makes me extremely sad. The biggest thing that it has done is given me so many insecurities especially about

Depression left me but I didn't left it
I would like to start by saying that I haven't wrote in a very very long time. Two years ago, I was struggling hard with depression. Now I can say that I am finally out of it. I think the medications and therapy helped me in a way but the most helpful and successful were my loving and supporting parents

Can MSA people get overly demanding?
Selfishness - increase in unreasonable behaviour or requests? It has improved since we have had counselling but sometimes my husband has days where he asks things of me that are ridiculous and cant seem to see why it's not ok. He wasn't like that before this illness came along is it the MSA or is it

Counseling vs Therapy
I'm probably about to start counseling, will this still help me or is therapy a better option?

I am having a donor egg baby and every night I lay awake wondering if they baby can possibly love me if I'm not their biological mother. I dont know why suddenly this has been the cause of huge panic and worry for me. My anxiety throughout my pregnancy is out of control. I haven't slept properly since

Depression, anxiety, frustration...
I guess what I am feeling is depression, maybe anxiety. I feel at a total loss lately. I am not sure if it all stems from events from my childhood, or my marriage or just life events combined. I know I have alot to be thankful for, but I feel like I am just angry and frustrated all the time, and I am

Genetic result; CDKN2A mutation: does it mean anything for my approach to PCa treatment?
Genetic testing has revealed CDKN2A mutation which leaves me a higher risk for skin cancer and pancreatic cancer, wasn't too surprised as my Dad had melanoma. Report says: "it is unclear if this CDKN2A mutation is related to the prostate cancer of this patient. Follow-up IHC analysis of the p16

Home DNA kit test results to be used in fight against Coronavirus.
Data from popular home genetic-testing kits could help scientists shed light on why some people who catch coronavirus have no symptoms while others become very ill. Researchers are asking people who have used DNA testing services – such as Ancestry DNA, FTDNA and 23andMe – to gain ancestry or health

Certificate - passed
I did online counselling course and passed. But it isn't a degree or anything like that - it is just a diploma, so more like beginner course. Looking for more suitable courses so that I can work with disabled people, carer, etc

Has anyone had Preimplantation Genetic Testing on their embryos in IVF?
Hi there, we find out tomorrow how many of our embryos have made it to day 5. Our clinic have mentioned preimplantation genetic testing to check if they have the right amount of chromosomes - to see if they are euploids. Has anyone gone down this route before? Xx

Struggling emotionally
We were supposed to start second round of ICSI as lockdown started and obviously that's still not happened. My first round of ICSI was emotionally draining and after I found out the first embryo transfer hadnt worked I really lost myself and a week later had family issues where one of my family attempted

Embryo grades / genetic testing?
I did my fourth ivf cycle and got 4/4 blastocyst. I’m not too excited as last time I had 3/3 and all 3 came back generically abnormal. Today I spoke with the doctor and he said the grading is better. He said it was 4ab 4ab 4bb 4aa - I am going ahead with testing them genetically. Last time he said they
